We often stress the importance of trying to plan your Disney World trip during off-season times.
This can be a great way to avoid chaotic crowds, longer wait times, and missing out on hard-to-snag reservations. Holidays and school breaks are often the worst times to visit, but you also need to look out for under-the-radar events like runDisney races and more. Speaking of which, here’s why you might want to AVOID Disney World in early February.
Heads up if you’re planning an upcoming trip to the parks — you might want to avoid Disney World and the general area on February 4th and the surrounding dates! The NFL Pro Bowl is being hosted at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on that date.
So, what does that have to do with Disney World? Well, it will likely mean a lot more visitors to the area which could impact traffic and even the amount of people in the parks. Folks in town might take advantage of being in close proximity to Disney World and decide to make a trip out of it.
On the other hand, this also means you might get the chance to see some celebrity sightings if you are in the parks during this time!
And, if you’ve already got your trip planned for the weekend of February 4th and are worried about what that might mean — don’t fret! You can still have an excellent time. February can be a slower month in general with people settling back into routines after the holiday season, and you can always take advantage of Genie+, Disney World transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours, and more.
No matter when you’re planning your next Disney World trip, we’ve got plenty of tips and tricks you can use to have the best time possible! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney World planning tips and news!
