The EPCOT Festival of The Arts is in full swing, and we have tried the food, witnessed the entertainment, and found amazing art pieces! We spent the first day of the Festival of The Arts walking around soaking it in, and we came across something that made our jaws DROP.
We think we just found the most expensive souvenir you could take home with you from this festival!
We found the most gorgeous painting of Mrs. Potts and Chip from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Festival…but it comes with a HEFTY price tag.
This painting is a beautiful oil painting on canvas by the extremely talented Nath McCullough! There are six hidden Mickeys within the painting, which makes it extra fun for Disney fans.
But here’s the thing: The price tag on this piece is $18,000. 😮 If you have a few extra thousand lying around and you’re wondering what to do with it, you can bring this piece home with you!
We were able to get up close to the painting and must say that it is an absolutely incredible display of artistry and technique. The brushstrokes are intentional and proud, piecing the painting together like a mosaic of color and imagination, just as whimsical as the attitude the painting portrays.
We love seeing the pride artists have when displaying their pieces and the feelings their paintings evoke is incredibly special!
Nath McCullough’s painting is a 39×45 original oil painting and is simply an incredible piece that we loved seeing! Although we might not quite have it in our budget to take this one home, we certainly loved the chance to see it and admire the work.
HOWEVER, we did discover a cheaper version of this artwork. You can also get a gallery-wrapped canvas 16 x 20 print for $225.
