No one ever wants to have an emergency in Disney World.
However, they can happen. Whether that’s because you get sick on your vacation, or you have an unexpected medical emergency, there are ways to get help in Disney World fast. If it’s a medical emergency, you may immediately think to call 911, but there’s actually another way to get ahold of them.
Calling isn’t the only way to reach 911. In fact, you can text 911 if calling is not an option.
Now, this could be because you are unable to speak, are hearing impaired, or if there’s a language barrier and you need to use a translate app to communicate — whatever the reason may be, you can text 911.
Some people don't know it's possible to Text to 911.
It's always best to call 911 if you can. But if you can't – because you are hearing or speech impaired or are in a dangerous situation, you can always Text-to-911. pic.twitter.com/8B214pPerC

In Florida, texting 911 is available in all but three counties (Miami-Dade, Hendry and Holmes), so you can text 911 in Disney World. However, texting or calling 911 should only be used in life-threatening emergencies. If you’re having an issue in Disney World that isn’t life threatening, but still an emergency, please locate the nearest Cast Member for assistance.
As for other potential “disasters” during your Disney World trip, such as not being able to ride what you’d like, or get a dining reservation you were really looking forward to, we’re here to help at DFB.

Twice! First time I had severe dehydration unexpectedly in Epcot and a CM appeared right away after several people helped me get off my feet and lie down. Went in a wheelchair to first aid which determined a trip to the hospital was necessary-ambulances are parked right behind there . After a few hours of treatment I went home
#2. Epcot again! I was sitting on a bench and felt as if I had a stroke. We were near first aid and I was able to walk there using my walker. They took me to the hospital again and in a few days I went home and continued treatment from there
