Buckle up, folks. An iconic Disney snack just got hit with an interesting twist!

Terran Treats 2021

Churros come in many shapes, sizes, and flavors throughout the Disney parks, but a brand NEW creation has just hit the scene. To find it, head to Terran Treats in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort. But you’ll need to hurry!

The special churro available here is a limited-time offering for the Lunar New Year festival! It’ll only be here from January 23rd through February 18th, 2024. Of course, as a true aficionado of the Disney churro, we had to give it a try. So let’s discuss the good and not-so-good about this treat.

As we mentioned above, you’ll find this new churro over at Terran Treats, a snack stand that operates year-round in Avengers Campus. The special Lunar New Year Festival churro that’s featured here is the Strawberry Green Tea Churro!

WOWZA! Talk about a combination of flavors. But will it work? Let’s find out!

Eat

The NEW Strawberry Green Tea Churro is made of a Green tea-cinnamon sugar-dusted churro with strawberry cream sauce. It is topped with freeze-dried strawberries and priced at $7.25.

The green and pink colors here really do stand out, making it very unique. But how does it taste? Honestly, SUPER delicious! The green tea flavor is perfectly balanced and pairs really well with the strawberry sauce. We loved that sauce so much that we wanted to DRINK it, tbh. 

It’s covered in sugar!

We would order this treat again and again, and we almost liked it as much as a classic Disneyland churro! It takes second place to the classic OG churro, but that’s a HUGE honor in our book.

Overall

If you’re a churro fan, you can’t skip out on this snack! The unique flavor combination is so fun and unexpected.
