There are few Disney World rides more iconic than Pirates of the Caribbean.
The attraction debuted in Magic Kingdom in 1973, and has since become a fan-favorite ride for many. After all, who doesn’t love getting blinded by a skeleton before you plummet to awaiting ships and cannon fire? OH, and the smell of the water and the roasted marshmallow scent of the burning scene? Anyway, if you love the attraction (or even the Pirates of the Caribbean movies) as much as we do, you’re going to want to listen up!
Disney PhotoPass shared on Instagram a very important announcement for those who love Pirates and also think that pictures make the BEST souvenirs. If you visit the Disney PhotoPass studio in Disney Springs, you can partake in a Pirates–themed photoshoot.
You can rock it solo, or you can get the whole family involved!
These are super fun and a little bit silly, which is exactly how we like our PhotoPass photos to be.
We think that these photos would be especially cool if you and your crew Disneybounded as pirates. (If you don’t know what Disneybounding is, it’s where you dress in a character’s likeness in normal clothes. Adults can’t wear costumes in the park, so Disneybounding is the way to show your favorite characters some love!)
We really want to head to Disney Springs for a photoshoot now. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Disney news and updates, so make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing.

Maybe 25 years ago, I went to Disney World with my extended family. While in the Pirates of the Carribean area, you were able to get photos taken of your group, dressed in pirate attire with a pirate background, which Disney provided. It was very fun and we still have the photos . You had to pay of course but it was a nice thing to do.
