There are a few days out of the year that we all expect Disney World to be busy.
Those are days like New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other major holidays. While those days are expected to be busy, other days can randomly pop up on the calendar that bring large crowds. And speaking of random days, we thought we would give you a heads-up on two upcoming days that you’ll want to be aware of!
The week of February 5th through February 11th is likely going to be a bit busier. This week, there is the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship competition weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World! That means lots of spectators and competitors will be headed to the parks.
While date-based tickets no longer need park reservations, any ticket that is not date-based still requires a reservation to enter the Disney parks. Because of this, we keep track of which days are selling out for those non-date-based tickets. We saw tickets and Annual Passholder reservations start to sell out. Currently, both ticketed guests…
… and Annual Passholders have some sold-out dates this weekend!
When we had checked previously, both Saturday and Sunday were sold out for all four parks, and Friday the 9th was sold out for some parks. Though today is showing no availability, that doesn’t mean they won’t be refilled again!
If you’re looking to get into the parks and have either an Annual Pass or a non-date-based ticket, you’ll want to hurry to make your park reservation! Lots of people are hoping to go to the parks this weekend, so grab those passes now.
Even if you get a reservation at one park, you can hop to any other park at any time if you’ve purchased the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus ticket option! This doesn’t guarantee entrance into a park, though, if it’s filled to capacity. But if you don’t get a reservation to EPCOT, don’t worry, you may still be able to visit the park. Be sure to check with any friendly Cast Member or your Disney World app if you have questions.
