It’s time to start getting excited about one of our FAVORITE EPCOT festivals.
The International Flower and Garden Festival will begin on February 28th, and EPCOT is already preparing. One of the best parts about the festival is the opportunity to walk around the park and check out all the topiaries. EPCOT’s horticulture team designs and builds topiaries that look like Disney characters ENTIRELY out of plants. It’s incredible, and we love spotting all the new and returning ones each year. Well, the very first topiary of 2024 has officially arrived to the park. Check it out!
Over in the UK Pavilion, we ran into the first topiary of the year. It’s Tinker Bell!
We think she looks adorable in her dress and little slippers. The amount of detail that the Cast Members put into the topiaries each year never fails to amaze us.
We’re expecting more and more to arrive VERY soon, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we see them.

We’re in the parks every day, so we’ll be on the lookout. Don’t worry, though. That’s not the only exciting thing we saw. Near The Land pavilion, the butterfly garden is being constructed.
This is where you can head inside and see TONS of butterflies as well as learn about the plants that they love.
We’re so excited about the Flower and Garden Festival, and we’ll be there on the opening day to check everything out. Make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing.

We were at Epcot Thursday 2-8-24 and also saw the flower gardens being marked out and dug out for planting.

Yes, we will be at The Flower and Garden Festival which is to us “The right of Spring”. We will be there in late March/early April and can’t wait. We read your posts every release.👍👍

It’s adorable and will make kids and adults smile but isn’t so much a topiary but a statue with some plants on it. The amount of terrific detail is not so impressive when you realize they’re using paint and other materials. The original topiaries located along the road on the approach to the WDW Magic Kingdom in the early days (1970’s) were incredibly magical to us kids. There was nothing like them. They were true green plants shaped like animals and very large. Sad they’re long gone!
