If you’re thinking of heading to Disney World this weekend, consider this to be your fair warning.
When you are in the parks basically every day, you start to pick up on a thing or two. Yep, we’ve seen the trends on how February might typically be a slower month for Disney World, but how the crowds just descend during this holiday weekend. That’s what we’re talking about and we want you to be prepared!
This next weekend is President’s Day weekend. You wouldn’t be wrong to wonder what the big deal is, but we’re telling you to be ready for the crowds to show up in force!
It never seems to fail that in Disney World, when the masses get an extra few days off, they arrive in droves to visit the parks, which, you guessed it, means there will almost assuredly big extra long lines, high wait times, and large crowds pretty much everywhere!
And this isn’t just hyperbole. We’ve seen this trend of massive crowds for years now. And let’s face it, if you live in a climate that’s cold in the winter, doesn’t a long weekend in Orlando in February sound like a great little break from wearing heavy coats, hats, and gloves?
So, with the holiday weekend, we definitely expect to see a significant uptick in park and hotel crowds this weekend. However, if you still would like to visit over the weekend and avoid the crowds, don’t worry. It can be done. Just make sure you’re strategic with your timing (be among the first people in the park) and if you need a break, head on over to Disney Springs or one of the resorts.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing!
