I’ve had this issue happen to me a lot. And every time I just want to talk to the family in question and tell them to keep their volume down. It’s worse when the parents won’t do anything to quiet their kids. Please be courteous of other people who are sleeping in their hotel rooms and don’t be loud in the hallways.
Mark Dunne says
Should make it 10.00pm, it’s the noises in the rooms around you that make me mad ! Respect all around , and get some sleep !!
Tracy says
It’s not just the hallways. People seem to think that once they’re inside their room nobody can hear them but that is absolutely not the case. I’ve been woken up or kept awake by loud guests in the next room far more often that by noise form the hallway.
Peggy Knecht says
Absolutely follow this rule. This happened to me in December. I have anxiety, and one of my triggers is if I don’t get enough sleep. Well, the people down the hall from me were making a lot of noise, most of my vacation. I ended up in the ED having a really bad panic attack.
Charles says
Try that when your hotel is being used to house hundreds of cheerleaders for a national cheerleading competition….
Susan says
This past February/March, I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn and could not believe the rudeness of guests in the early morning. It was 6:30 am and a group of adults and children were singing “Happy Birthday” down the hall. No consideration for others staying at the hotel. Disney does not seem to enforce this policy or make guests aware, but it should be common courtesy when staying at a hotel.
