We’re two months into 2024, and it’s already time to start planning those 2025 Disney World vacations!
Yep, 2025 Vacation bookings JUST opened, even though it’s only February. This came as quite a surprise to a lot of Disney fans, as booking typically doesn’t start until later in the spring. For example, 2024 bookings opened on May 31st, 2023. We aren’t complaining, though. This just means we have EXTRA time to get our ducks in a row for 2025. Overall, tickets saw price increases throughout the year. However, there are, of course, still CHEAPER times to go. Let’s talk about it!
Keep in mind that these prices are for dates from January 2025 through October 2025, as those are the only dates currently available on Disney’s website. The cheapest tickets for 2025 fall at $119 while the most expensive tickets fall at $169. In 2024, the cheapest tickets fell at $109 while the most expensive ones fell at $164.
So… When can we expect to see those cheaper tickets? Well, we don’t see any significant or consistent price decreases until later in the year — in August. This makes sense, as August typically marks the end of vacation season with a lot of Americans going back to school. Here’s a look at the calendar:
August is in second place for the months with the most dates with the lowest ticket prices of the year, which fall at $119. While there are more $119 days in 2025, they’re few and far between. August is the month that has these low prices the most consistently. Check it out!
- August 19th — $119
- August 20th — $119
- August 20th — $119
- August 21st — $119
- August 22nd — $119
- August 25th — $119
- August 26th — $119
- August 27th — $119

September is the winner! September has the MOST dates at $119!
Here’s a list:
- September 2nd — $119
- September 3rd — $119
- September 4th — $119
- September 9th — $119
- September 10th — $119

- September 16th — $119
- September 17th — $119
- September 18th — $119

- September 24th — $119
- September 25th — $119
Still, the lowest price of 2025 which is a $10 increase from the lowest price of 2024: $109. $10 per ticket can really add up, especially for larger parties, so it’s honestly a great thing that Disney let us know off these changes SOONER. That means we have plenty of time to budget! Oh, and if you do decide to visit Disney World during August, be prepared for some HEAT. This is one of the HOTTEST months of the year in Central Florida, and you’ll want to make sure to plan some comfortable and breezy outfits as well as extra supplies to stay hydrated.
