We can’t tell you how thrilled we are that beignets are sticking around in Magic Kingdom for a little bit longer.
Tiana’s Famous Beignets in Magic Kingdom
You can almost always grab them over at Port Orleans French Quarter, but that’s a whole bus ride away, so getting them in the parks is a little easier. However, getting these delicious treats is a little more difficult than you may imagine — there’s one problem that keeps getting in the way!
Tiana’s Famous Beignets are available in Magic Kingdom right now at Golden Oak Outpost, a snack stand that ISN’T OPEN every hour of the park day.

Yes, Golden Oak Outpost is only open between 12-5PM each day, and we’ve seen people line up for beignets starting around 11:30-11:45AM each morning. Plus, we found out (thanks to an amazing DFB reader) that even if you’re in line by 4:30PM, if you haven’t made it up to the front to place your order by 5PM, you won’t be able to order.

Additionally, Golden Oak Outpost doesn’t have a sign posting their official hours (although you can find them on your My Disney Experience App), only a sign that reads “Golden Oak Outpost is currently closed” when the stand is closed, which can be very confusing!

So if you’re really wanting to make sure you grab those beignets, line up around 15-30 minutes before the stand opens, or make sure you’re in line at least an hour before it closes! And check your My Disney Experience App to ensure times haven’t changed for the day.

This is a great PSA. My birthday is Feb 1, and I was so excited to be there for the first day of beignets. Clueless to this cut off, I strolled up to the Golden Outpost at about 5:01, just as they were starting to direct people away.
The cast member getting ready to stop the traffic must have seen our crestfallen faces because he waves us through and beignets were enjoyed! Cast compliments were a-flyin’ after that. 🙂
