5 NEW Desserts Just Arrived at One of Our FAVORITE Disney World Restaurants!

It’s no secret that we get excited about Disney World food, especially NEW Disney World food.

We’ve had a TON of that already, too, what with Women’s History Month bringing us all kinds of female-forward snacks, while the g reen dye has come out for loads of St. Patrick’s Day treats. We’ve also got bunny butt snacks and other treats to look forward to for Easter. Now, though, one of our FAVORITE Disney World restaurants has revealed some brand new desserts!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is Sanaa, a restaurant we LOVE. Now, we know that everyone goes there for that AMAZING bread service, BUT you might want to visit Sanaa for some brand new desserts, too. That includes the Giraffe Tower Mousse made with Banana cake, peanut butter mousse, banana mousse, and caramel with Tanzanian peanut brittle crunch. YUM.

There’s also a new ice cream dessert, the Black Sesame Sundae made with Black sesame ice cream, roasted spiced pineapple, tea caramel, milk crumble, and raspberry crisps. Sounds amazing, right?

The Wilde-best Wildebeest may have the best dessert name EVER. It’s made with flourless chocolate cake, milk chocolate custard, and chocolate fudge-coated cocoa nibs.

The Ankole Cake is a Spiced chocolate cake, baobab curd, coconut gel, meringue ‘horns,’ STARR African Rum-macerated citrus. Also, can we just talk about the presentation of these desserts? A PLUS, Disney!

There’s even a dessert that is SURE to please your little ones or picky eaters. Timon’s Grub is made with Banana pastry cream, whipped cream, sliced bananas, graham cracker bugs, gummy worms, and chocolate rocks. Timon would certainly approve!

So be sure to make that advance dining reservation at Sanaa (trust us, it’s worth leaving the parks for) to try out some new sweet treats.
