One of the most recent stories unfolding in the headlines has us wondering if we’ll ever fly again. Let’s talk about it.
Remember the “good ol’ days” when turbulence was the worst thing we faced on flights? In the latest episode of “What Could Possibly Go Wrong on a Plane?” (that’s a new series we just made up lol), a recent story reported by Fox News shared that travelers were in for a hair-raising surprise when an unexpected stowaway decided to join them mid-flight. Kudos to you if you guessed it. Yes, it was a rat!

As we said, a rat was spotted onboard an Airbus A330-300 during a flight from Lahore, Pakistan, to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Thursday, Feb. 22nd. Doesn’t it seem like the universe has a twisted sense of humor when it comes to testing the nerves of frequent flyers? First, we had snakes. Then, we had maggots. Now, we have RATS! Is it just us or has air travel become an unpredictable rollercoaster of surprises?

But a rat on a plane? That’s a whole new level of airborne “adventure” that even the most seasoned travelers couldn’t have seen coming. Interesting…, once, at least 10 or more years ago, I was flying into Orlando, and during the flight. A mouse cam strolling down the center isle, and then turned in and went into the row and under the seat in feont of me. Never thought of it before, but mice tend to chew on electrical wiring insulation. Scary…
