Planning a Disney World trip can sometimes take a lot of work.
So, when things don’t go according to plan — it can be pretty disappointing. We often stress the importance of going with the flow and being prepared for the unexpected. You just never know what might happen on your Disney World vacation, and folks visiting Magic Kingdom today learned that firsthand!
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, a stage show that takes place at Cinderella Castle multiple times per day, was canceled in Magic Kingdom today! The 12:50PM show on March 8th didn’t go as planned due to unforeseen circumstances.
Most of the characters were still meeting on stage, though, so at least folks were still able to experience a piece of the magic. Disney didn’t share why the show was canceled, but typically when something like this happens it could be for any number of reasons like a performer having an issue or even technical difficulties.
We couldn’t see the action from where we were when the announcement took place, but we did hear them still perform the finale song, so at least folks didn’t miss out on the whole thing!
Being prepared for the unexpected can make a world of difference when you’re in the parks. Sometimes the pesky Florida weather gets the best of you, or maybe the ride you were most looking forward to is closed with no warning. Going with the flow will help you still be able to have a good time without being disappointed with high expectations!
