Disney World brought its After Hours events back to the parks for 2024.
Tower of Terror
These events are taking place in three of the four parks — Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. At the After Hours events you can have extra time to ride all the rides without the extra crowds and wait times. They also offer complimentary treats like Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, and soda. Up until recently, the events this year haven’t been overly popular (which helps keep the wait times down), but now we noticed that a couple of nights have sold out a one of the parks!
Hollywood Studios has been offering its After Hours events on select nights from select nights from January 10, 2024 – August 29, 2024! By this point, a few of those events have taken place, but not all of them. At this park’s After Hours events you can get experience several rides and attractions. It’s apparent that these events are popular because we saw that two events coming up soon have SOLD OUT!

As you can see, March 13th and April 3rd have both sold out. These aren’t the first dates for Hollywood Studios to sell out, one other one did previously, so it’s clear that people are enjoying their extra time in the star-studded park. At these events, in Hollywood Studios, you may get to experience hot-ticket attractions like:
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Toy Story Mania!
- Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- Showings of Wonderful World of Animation and Disney Movie Magic (projection shows on the Chinese Theatre)
- Character Greetings
- And more!

Have not heard of these nights. We are coming for the first time very soon 27/03- 11/04 and are staying in a Disney hotel. We have booked the fantasmic package at Hollywood and vine for the 03/04. How will this affect us as a first timer I thought we had extra park time as we are in a Disney hotel anyway?

Hi Stuart! You will still get your early morning entry, but Hollywood Studios does not have Extended Evening Hours. The park will close at 9:30pm on April 4th with the extra ticketed After Hours party beginning at 10pm. If there is an after hours party at a park where you do have extended evening hours, you’ll still be allowed to stay for those two hours, but will be asked to leave once those hours are up if you do not have a party ticket.
