Today, March 12th, is an exciting day in Disney World, specifically at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is home to some shining stars in terms of places to eat in Disney World. You can get a world-class meal at Victoria & Albert’s, celebrate a special event at Citricos, go out for date night at Narcoossee’s, or grab and go from Gasparilla Island Grill. But one very special dining location has yet to re-open since its closure in 2020 — 1900 Park Fare. Now that’s soon to change! The character restaurant is set to re-open on April 10th, and Disney just shared NEW details!
We’ve been watching and waiting for 1900 Park Fare to reopen its (new) doors. It’s so exciting to think it will be opening to welcome you in again soon! March 5th marked the first day that you could make reservations for the restaurant, but open reservations weren’t the only big news we got.
When we popped over to make our dining reservations, we learned the new pricing for this character buffet! Adult meals are pricd at $54 per person, while children’s meals are priced at $34 each for ages 3-9.
Dinner is priced at $66 per adult and $49 per child ages 3 through 9.
You will also be able to use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meals at 1900 Park Fare, and character buffets can be a good use of credits if you were already planning to enjoy one. Disney shared that you’ll get to meet characters like Aladdin as Prince Ali, Tiana, Cinderella, and Mirabelle.
Disney recently shared the full menu on the Disney World app, and lo and behold the famous Strawberry Soup is there! A new item, Tiana’s Gumbo will also be available.
We’re always watching for updates, so keep following DFB for more Disney news!

The menu is available on the app – can’t wait to give this one a go!
Laurel Lane says
I so waited patiently and hopefully for 1900 Park Fare to reopen. But I expected it to open to the same theme it had before. The new slate of characters have absolutely nothing to do with the theme of The Grand Floridian. Why? How does Aladdin, Mirabel and Tiana fit in here? Well, another restaurant to knock off my must-do list. Seems Disney ruins everything these days…

Gigi, Is breakfast and lunch for an adult at $54 ? What time is dinner served at $69 for an adult? Thanks
DFB Gigi says
Hi Ron! It looks like only breakfast and dinner will be served, not lunch. In the past, dinner started at 4:30pm so I’d expect it to be around that timeframe.
