What we love about Disney World is the attention to detail.
Main Street, U.S.A.
We see it on the rides, in the little details just walking through the parks, with the characters, and more. Even the Cast Member costumes are themed to the area or ride Cast Members are working (like, is any outfit more iconic than the Haunted Mansion Cast Member costumes?). Well, now, Cast Members who work in Magic Kingdom are getting a new look!
Disney World just recently revealed NEW outfits for Cast Members who work on Main Street, U.S.A. Now this part of Magic Kingdom has a very turn-of-the-century vibe, so the new costumes still reflect that. But these costumes are also made with lightweight, breathable fabrics AND made from recyclable materials.

We asked a Cast Member, Jamie, at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. for a few more details on these costumes and found out that the costumes are mostly made up of interchangeable pieces, so each Cast Member can put together their own look. The costumes aren’t referred to as “men’s” or “women’s,” either.

The dresses are known as Costume A and are interchangeable with a pink or green top. Costume B is the pants, which can be worn with the long-sleeved shirt with the tie. There’s also a short sleeve button down shirt with thin striping and a dark green bow tie. All of these options can be switched out and combined in multiple ways. One thing that’s different now, though, is that the previous pants provided a suspenders option, but the new pants only allow for belts.
So the next time you visit Main Street, U.S.A., be sure to let the Cast Members know how sharp they look in their new gear!
