It’s always fun to play dress-up in the parks.

Whether you’re sporting a t-shirt repping your favorite Disney characters, rides, or foods or whether you’re wearing a full Disneybounding outfit in the parks, dressing up for the Disney Parks is a great way to add a little something extra to your Disney trips. If you REALLY love to dress up, though, you need to know about Dapper Day, when guests in Disney World and Disneyland dress to impress. Now, we know when Dapper Day will be happening on both coasts!
Okay, so if you’re not familiar with Dapper Day, the idea is to dress up in vintage outfits, just like what you might have seen when Disney World or Disneyland first opened. It’s an unofficial event organized by a third party organization, but it’s always a BIG deal in the parks!

Dapper Day usually happens twice a year in Disney World and Disneyland. Here are the dates for the 2024 Dapper Day events:
Spring 2024
- April 6th-7th: Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel
- April 7th: Spring Outing to Disneyland
- April 20th-21st Spring Outing to Walt Disney World
Fall 2024
- November 2nd-3rd: Pop-Up Shop+ at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
- November 3rd: Fall Outing to Disneyland CA
- December 7th-8th: Holiday Outing to Walt Disney World

You’ll want to mark those days and plan those outfits. You will need valid park tickets to attend the in-park Dapper Day events. In Disneyland, you’ll need a park ticket plus a park pass reservation for that day.

Good to know when these dates are if you’re not a participant. We went to Disneyland one year during Dapper Day unknowingly and the park was packed! Fun to see the outfits but not fun if you want to maximize rides and experiences.
