We’re constantly talking about new airline routes being added to flying into MCO, but now, we’ve got some important news to share with JetBlue Airlines fans.
Flying into Orlando International Airport is the first step in a LOT of people’s Disney World vacations. However, if you’ve been considering flying into Orlando for your next vacation soon, your options may be a little more limited.
We’ve got some news to report if you’re thinking about flying to Orlando soon. We’ve recently seen a wave of budget airlines cancel flights to the Orlando Airport, and now it seems that JetBlue Airways is following suit.
Starting in June, JetBlue has announced plans to cut flights from Orlando to Salt Lake City in hopes of reducing delays and costs. This isn’t the only route that JetBlue plans to cut, though — the Orlando route joins 15 other nationwide routes that are getting canceled, according to ClickOrlando.
JetBlue also hopes the changes will help the airline “cope with the grounding of some of its planes for inspections of their Pratt & Whitney engines,” an executive told employees Tuesday, according to ClickOrlando.
We’ll be keeping up with all the latest airline changes and updates, so be sure to check back in with us for all the latest!
