We have recently learned SO MUCH about the upcoming D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event!

This is one of the biggest Disney fan events, and we can’t wait to see what is in store. However, it is also one of the hardest events to snag tickets for, BUT we are here to help! We have a full walk-through on how you can purchase your tickets starting March 26th, 2024. There are even screenshots included, so you will know exactly what you are doing on the big day.

In case you don’t know, D23 is Disney’s official fan club. Once you join the club, you’ll receive emails about new things coming up and lots of fun Disney information. You can join for free or opt for the Gold Membership. The Gold Membership has a yearly fee, but you get additional perks like access to gold-level events, an annual subscription to the Disney Twenty-Three publication, collector sets, and more.

As part of the fan club, D23 puts on a HUGE fan convention each year. This year’s is supposed to be the biggest yet and will include special events, merchandise, exhibits, and MAJOR announcements of things to come. The event will be taking place August 9th-11th! Some of the biggest players in the Walt Disney Company will be there with announcements, sneak peeks, and concept art for lots of new things coming to Disney!

Tickets go on sale beginning March 26th, 2024, and here is the schedule for when you are eligible to grab tickets:

• D23 Gold Members will have first access to a number of 1-day and 3-day tickets for a limited time beginning March 26th at 12PM PT.
• D23 Gold and General Members who are also Visa cardholders (you must pay with your Visa card) will have pre-sale access to a number of 1-day and 3-day tickets for a limited time, beginning March 27th at 12PM PT.
• Tickets for all D23 Gold and General Members will go on sale beginning March 28th at 12PM PT, while supplies last.

Additionally, here is a peek at the pricing for the tickets:

• D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket includes a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $297.
• D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket includes a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $99.
• D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket, exclusive to D23 Gold Members, includes a 3-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center (same seat each night), and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $999.
• D23 Fan Pass provides access to the Anaheim Convention Center only:
  • 1-Day Pass — Gold Members: $79; General Members: $89
  • 3-Day Pass — Gold Members: $209; General Members: $259

Now that we have covered all the ticket information, let’s get to how you are going to get the tickets! Here is a step-by-step walkthrough of the ticketing process!

Step 1: Login into your D23 Membership account. You will need to be a D23 member in order to purchase tickets! However, you can sign up for a free membership right here to get access to ticket sales.

 

Step 2: Once you are logged in, you will see the available ticket options. The D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass will ONLY be visible to D23 Gold Members. You will have 15 minutes to complete your transaction, so be prepared.

Step 3: You can browse the various ticket options; however, we recommend knowing which ticket you are planning on purchasing ahead of time. You have 15 minutes to complete your transaction, and tickets are expected to sell out FAST! Go into the ticket buying process knowing exactly which ticket you are hoping to purchase. Once you have found the correct ticket, click on “Get Tickets” for that option.

Step 4: Now that you have selected your ticket option, you will be taken to a screen with more information and the option to select your seats. If you have been to a D23 Expo before, you will notice that ticketing is a bit different this year. The biggest and most popular panels with be held in the evenings at the Honda Center. You will be selecting your seats for these panels ahead of time, and your ticket price will vary depending on the seats you select. This will be a change from waiting in long lines to get a seat at the panels!

On this page, you can either click “Select Seats” and manually choose the seats you would like, or you can click on “Find Best Available,” and the system will automatically select the closest seat to center stage available.

Step 5: If you opt to manually select your own seats, you will be taken to a seating map of the Honda Center. You will be able to select the section you would like to view available seats for. Once you click on a section, you will be shown a more detailed diagram of the seats in that section.

 

Step 6: Once you have selected a section, you will see the seats available. The available seats will be represented by colored circles, and you will click on them to select your seats.

Step 7: Once you have selected all your seats (your selections will turn into a yellow circle), you will click on the “Add to Cart” button.

Step 8: You will get a pop-up notification that says, “Your tickets are reserved,” and you can click on “Proceed to Checkout.”

Step 9: On the way to checkout, you will be given the option to purchase D23 merchandise. Purchasing merchandise is completely optional, but this is the only time you will be able to purchase merchandise during the checkout process. There will also be a limit of 8 per item while supplies last.

Step 10: Once you have selected any merchandise you wish to purchase, you will be given one more opportunity to review your cart. If everything looks good, complete all the required information and then complete the transaction. Congratulations! You just got yourself tickets to The Ultimate Disney Fan Event!

We hope this step-by-step walkthrough is helpful, and hopefully it will make you feel more confident going into ticket sales! Since you are selecting seats this year, this process will probably take a bit longer than usual.
