UPDATED November 14, 2024
Disney has so many new ideas planned, and we are so excited!
From new themed lands, theme park expansions, restaurants, and cruise ships, there is so much in store for Disney in the future! We are incredibly excited for all the new dining locations and cannot wait to try them when they open!
Disney World
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC Villas
Disney has also announced that the Polynesian Village Resort will be getting an additional dining location on December 17th, 2024 as part of the hotel’s massive expansion. The Wailulu Bar & Grill will “boast breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom Park.”
According to Disney, this casual walk-up pool bar and grill will feature an all-day menu for lunch and dinner. There will also be specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries available for breakfast.

Magic Kingdom
Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern
Over in Magic Kingdom, the beloved attraction Pirates of the Caribbean will get its own themed lounge! Disney said this new lounge will “extend the Pirates of the Caribbean story.”
According to Disney, this “rambunctious watering hole will offer a welcoming haven for all pirate-kind, big and small, and everyone in between.” Disney teased a selection of “grogs and grub,” so it sounds like we could get some PIRATE FOOD! The lounge is scheduled to open in 2025.

EPCOT
Spaceship Earth Lounge
A NEW LOUNGE has been announced for EPCOT! For over 40 years, Spaceship Earth has welcomed park visitors to EPCOT as the park’s beacon and one of the most memorable buildings in all of Disney World.
Well, a newly-announced lounge is coming to EPCOT, and its sleek look is inspired by the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of this beautiful icon. The decor draws inspiration from its unique geometric sphere and hopes to offer a zen space for families filled with “rich textures and warm metallic tones, giving it a mysterious and elegant intimacy.”
This NEW lounge is set to open in EPCOT in 2025. Based on the concept art, this Spaceship Earth-inspired space looks like it will have an AMAZING fireworks view.

Disney Springs
Paddy’s Bar
Raglan Road is a popular table service restaurant in Disney Springs, and it has an adjoining quick service spot (Cookes of Dublin) along with a bar area (The Hole in the Wall). Now, there’s another addition coming to the Raglan Road complex!
Paddy’s Bar is going to be a new permanent outdoor bar (replacing the mobile bar) situated just in front of the Shop for Ireland gift shop. It’ll have six to eight seats and will only serve a limited menu of drinks — so if you want food, you’ll need to head to Raglan Road or Cookes of Dublin. The drinks menu here will feature “the very best of Irish draft beers along with locally commissioned craft beers – plus our unique array of Irish cocktails.”
The bar is named after the poet Patrick Kavanagh, who wrote the poem “Raglan Road.” It’s going to open pretty soon! They expect it to be ready for guests this fall (2024).
Disneyland
Downtown Disney
Hopping over to the West Coast, Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is currently under a lot of construction to bring us new dining experiences!
Disney Wonderful World of Sweets
Marceline’s Confectionery is currently being transformed into Disney Wonderful World of Sweets and will serve up classics like churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops and even freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn!
This shop will also feature an exhibition kitchen. As we await the winter opening of Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, you can still grab goodies from a cart in front of Marceline’s Confectionery in the meantime.
Porto’s Bakery
It was announced at D23 back in 2022 that Porto’s Bakery would be opening in Downtown Disney. This spot is very well known in Southern California. This bakery serves up delicious signature pastries and savory Cuban food.
At the bakery and cafe, you’ll be able to pick up “signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls and other favorite goodies.” But if you want an elevated experience, this will be the first Porto’s location with sit-down service and a full bar. Thanks to Business Wire, we know the new addition is coming in 2025!
Earl of Sandwich
Porto’s Bakery will be taking the spot of Earl of Sandwich, but fear not! Earl of Sandwich will be getting a new permanent location very soon, and it will be two stories!
In fact, Earl of Sandwich has also announced a new concept — The Carnaby Tavern. The second floor of the new space will be an homage to the ’60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the United Kingdom with a patio and full bar. The east side location of Earl of Sandwich will be closing in 2025 so construction can begin on Porto’s Bakery! In the meantime, you can still pick up some of your favorite sandwiches at their temporary pop-up location next to the Star Wars Trading Post!
Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon
Also on the way is Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, which will be a classic steakhouse. It will offer “prime cuts of beef, fresh seafood, sandwiches and salads, and an impressive selection of bourbon and inventive cocktails.” It’s also home to a center bar.
Next door, you’ll find Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, a quick service restaurant offering pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked heritage turkey with house-made sauces, craft beers, and moonshine cocktails.
These two restaurants will be built on the former footprint of Tortilla Jo’s, and work will begin soon.
Parkside Market
Parkside Market will open this winter on the west end of the district, and it will have four distinct dining locations under the same roof!
It will be home to the following:
- Vista Parkside Market, which will serve signature craft cocktails and mocktails
- Seoul Sister, which will be a fast-casual modern eatery serving Korean-style rice bowls
- Sip & Sonder, which will serve lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and small bites
- GG’s Chicken Shop, which will serve chicken sandwiches, salads and classic dinner table sides
Disney Cruise Line
Disney Treasure Cruise Ship
It’s time to head over to the high seas and check out what new dining offerings will be aboard Disney’s soon-to-be newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure. The Treasure’s maiden voyage is set for December of this year (setting sail on the 21st), and there are so many new fun dining spots on board!
Plaza de Coco
Plaza de Coco will be part of Disney’s signature rotational dining experience aboard Disney Cruise Line. This restaurant will be a theatrical dining experience and will be the FIRST themed to a Disney and Pixar film! Passengers will get to dine at this unique location TWO evenings. The menu is said to be a modern twist on traditional Mexican fare. The story will pick up right where the film left off where Miguel and his familia will come together in Mariachi Plaza.
Worlds of Marvel
Worlds of Marvel debuted on the Disney Wish and will join the Disney Treasure! The restaurant will offer the same experiences aboard the Wish. Worlds of Marvel is interactive, and you can get your whole table involved! The menu is based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with food inspired by Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia, California, China, South America, and New York City. This location will offer two interactive nights with different menus!

1923
This restaurant is also aboard the Wish but will be part of the dining rotation on the Treasure as well! 1923 is named after the year that Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded. The atmosphere is inspired by Disney animation, and the restaurant has many fun details. There are two dining rooms, the Walt Disney Dining Room and the Roy Disney Dining Room, which both reflect Hollywood glamour and Disney touches. The menu is inspired by the flavors of California.

Skipper Society
We have been super excited about this new Jungle-Cruise-themed bar that will be aboard the Treasure! The bar will take inspiration from this popular attraction that has different versions across the globe! There will be fun hidden Easter eggs that nod to the attraction. The Treasure will even have its own Jungle Cruise boat named Ems Express!
Haunted Mansion Parlor
We love this theme of lounges and bars based on some of our favorite attractions! Soon aboard the Treasure, you will get the opportunity to sip cocktails among our favorite 999 happy haunts! You can expect to see famous and iconic characters from Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, along with new haunts. This bar will tell a story in 30-minute loops. Of course, there will be signature drinks like a zero-proof cocktail served in a specialty mug called Sympathetic Libations!
9 Things We’re Begging Disney to Bring to the Haunted Mansion Bar
Periscope Pub
Another lounge based on an attraction? We love it! The Periscope Pub will take inspiration from the film and defunct attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This Submarine-inspired lounge will present “19th-century steampunk influences.” There will be light bites, craft brews, and TVs to allow you to watch any sporting event!
Marceline Market
Marceline Market is also aboard the Wish. This will be the Treasure’s daily buffet, where passengers can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Marceline is considered to be Walt Disney’s hometown in Missouri, and this buffet is a nod to that. The food found here is inspired by different markets around the world!

Jumbeaux’s Sweets
If you have a sweet tooth, then Jumbeaux Sweets is where you will want to be! This Zootopia-inspired sweet spot will also have an ice cream parlor called Jumbeaux Café. Here, you can find a photo opp with Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde! This shop will be a “playful pink” shop featuring Victorian-style architecture.
HeiHei Café
Need a pick-me-up? Look no further than HeiHei Café! This location will be a casual walk-up location serving up coffee and tea right off the Grand Hall.
Jade Cricket Café
There will also be another walk-up café offering coffee, tea, and more. This location is inspired by the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee from Mulan!

Disney Destiny Cruise Ship
The new Disney Destiny will follow the Disney Treasure, joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet when it sets sail starting on November 21, 2025!
The Destiny will feature a few of the same dining experiences as the Disney Treasure, but will also deliver unique dining venues all its own.
The similar dining experiences from the Disney Treasure will include:
- Worlds of Marvel
- 1923
- Haunted Mansion Parlor
- Marceline Market
- The Rose
- Palo Steakhouse
And, as promised, the Destiny will present several of its own exclusive restaurants:
Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King
In addition to Worlds of Marvel and 1923, let’s look at the NEW Rotational Dining experience that will be exclusive to the Disney Destiny! The Lion King will come to life in a brand new way at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King! This theatrical dining experience will be the FIRST themed to the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
The animals and nature that make up the African savanna will be “brought to life” in unique ways through lighting and special effects. The windows of the restaurant, for example, will transform from sunrise to sunset as you dine, and the restaurant’s focal piece will feature tiered risers made to resemble African drums. A cast of live musicians and storytellers will “present a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack as you dine.”
If you’re a diehard Disney Parks fan who hasn’t previously considered a Disney Cruise… well, you may find that some of the NEW lounges on the Disney Destiny offer the best of both worlds. The Disney Treasure will be the first ship in the fleet to feature a Haunted Mansion Parlor, and we’re thrilled to see that the trend is continuing on the Destiny as well! Let’s explore more of the adult-exclusive spaces coming to the Destiny…
Cask and Cannon
Hoist yer colours, mateys! The Disney Destiny will be home to Cask and Cannon — a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar! Disney shared that this new lounge is “Inspired by the iconic characters and scenes from the beloved Disney Parks attractions around the world, the new pub will be an eclectic yet cozy watering hole furnished with treasures ‘acquired’ (read: pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe.”
Not only that, but you’ll be able to catch your favorite game on the television here, plus enjoy rare and specialty rums — and a “selection of ‘bootlegged’ brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style.”
De Vil’s Piano Lounge
Ah, yes… We couldn’t think of a more perfect Disney Villain to have their very own over-the-top lounge than Cruella De Vil herself. As you might anticipate, De Vil’s Piano Lounge will be a “lavish affair,” according to Disney. You’ll see aspects from the original animated One Hundred and One Dalmatians along with details from the 2021 film Cruella.
You can expect to see Cruella’s style and boldness shining bright within this new lounge which Disney has said will have a “Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic.” There will even be a Dalmatian-spotted piano to fill the air with sultry tunes. You’ll be able to enjoy trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubbles.
The Sanctum
The Sanctum will be Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange and his mystical arts! This space will be centrally located and will “contain mystical items designed to aid sorcerers in protecting the world,” while also featuring entertainment, cocktails, coffees, and “unique surprises from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, including a circular mirror behind the bar that evokes the building’s iconic window.”
Disney Destiny — Cafes and Sweet Shops
Café Megara
Look for Café Megara off the Grand Hall when you’re in need of a caffeinated pick-me-up or sweet treat!
Themed after Disney Animation’s Hercules, the spot will present what Disney has deemed a “Greco disco” design!
Café Merida
Café Merida is another walk-up cafe located just off the Grand Hall. This tribute to Brave‘s feisty heroine, Merida, will feature a “Celtic-centered” design.
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Looking for something a little more for your sweet tooth, darling? Edna Á La Mode Sweets will be a specialty dessert shop and confectionery themed to the well-known fashion designer from Pixar’s The Incredibles.
The shop is inspired by the short film Auntie Edna and will repurpose Edna’s sewing equipment into sweet-making devices!” Handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats will be served in fashion in this spot packed with bolts of fabric and costume models. Sculptures of Edna herself and Jack-Jack will be the fun focal points of this confectionery.
We’ll continue to update this page with upcoming Disney eateries as they are announced, so stay tuned!
