Can you believe it? We’re only a few months away from being able to stay in one of the NEW Fort Wilderness Cabins coming to Fort Wilderness Resort!
Welcome to Fort Wilderness
Construction has begun on the new cabins, which will open in July of this year, and you can already make reservations. We’ve seen artist renderings of these new cabins (which have garnered mixed reactions), but now we’re getting a full look at the cabins in a REALLY cool way!
Now, this new look is different than what we’ve seen before. Instead of concept art or AI photos, Disney put a 360-degree camera inside a model cabin so we could take a look! The 360 view will allow you to see all the different parts of the cabin from whatever angle you’d like!
We noticed several nods to past parts of Disney World and fun decor. However, Disney did mention that furniture and decor could change from what we see here.

We especially love that this view looks at some of the hidden details we couldn’t see from the concept art! For example, you can see more details in the pictures on the wall, mirrors, and so much more. Can you spot some of the Easter eggs?

This is a fantastic way to check out the cabins to see if you’d like them before actually dropping the cash to stay in one. You can explore it with your family, and let them play around with the controls too to see if it’s somewhere they might like to stay!

While we do somewhat miss the old rustic designs of these cabins, we’re excited to step foot into these new ones and really feel them out for ourselves in person. I do not know if I am to fond of new look.
I hate walking through the living and kitchen areas to get to the bathroom from the bedroom. Wish that could have stayed next to the bedroom so when you get up in the morning you’re not disturbing whoever is sleeping on the pull out couch to go take your shower or brush your teeth.
