Disney’s biggest fan event of the year is coming up in August!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is happening August 9th, 10th, and 11th in Anaheim, CA with a special D23 Day in Disneyland on August 8th! This event is going to be HUGE. There will be big announcements, experiences, showcases, and more over these few days. Tickets start going on sale for the event tomorrow, March 26th at 12 PM PT for D23 Gold Members with more tickets being available March 27th and 28th. However, these tickets are limited and only available while supplies last. So what is the best way to guarantee getting tickets? Find out below.
The D23 event is a three-day event at both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. There are several events with tons of showcases going on all three days. The only way to attend this event is to be a D23 member. But there is definitely a perk to being a D23 Gold Member if you want to go.

General D23 memberships are free, but if you want to be a D23 Gold Member you have to pay for the annual membership. You get additional benefits throughout the year for paying the fee, such as discounts at select locations, exclusive merchandise, and access to special events. For D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, D23 Gold Members get the huge bonus of getting to buy tickets ALL THREE DAYS they are available.Â

Let’s break it down. On March 26th only D23 Gold Members may purchase tickets while supplies last. Then on March 27th, Gold Members and General D23 Members with a Visa credit card can purchase tickets while supplies last. And finally, on March 28th, all D23 Members may purchase tickets while they are available. This means that by paying the annual fee to be a D23 Gold Member you not only get benefits throughout the year, but you also have three days worth of chances to get tickets to this huge event instead of just one.
Ticket Prices for the Ultimate Fan Pass
D23 Gold Members can also have access to discounted tickets! The Ultimate Fan Passes are the same price regardless of membership status. But the D23 Fan Pass gives Gold Members the same ticket options as general members but for a cheaper price. So you have three days of chances to get a ticket, and you can have access to cheaper tickets — if you’re a D23 Gold Member.

I was waiting to purchase tickets from 2:30pm EST. When it came online my computer was 25,000 down the list. My phone was 1400. Then the system shut down for over an hour. When it came back up I was able to get in with my phone. But the system wasn’t working right and I was unable to check the tickets I wanted. Then after 5 minutes I was able to get the tickets I wanted. Went to checkout and I was stopped from purchasing. then it said all the tickets for the day were sold out. Just for fun I tried getting back in 3 hours later and it said the tickets were not sold out yet but was happening soon. If I was checking out to continue to do so. The Disney tickets program was not working that great. Will try again tomorrow.
