We’re only a few short months away from Fantasy Springs opening up in Tokyo DisneySea, and we’ve never been so jealous.
The concept art we’ve been getting of the new areas coming to the all-new land, including the new Peter Pan restaurant on the way, Lookout Cookout. We took a closer look at the Lookout Cookout design and saw some details we really don’t want you to miss!
Lookout Cookout is designed to be a hideout created by the Lost Kids of Neverland, where you can join them for a meal! Not only will you find tables and chairs to dine at, but their hammocks and pajamas they use to sleep. It’s looking to be pretty immersive!
When you look at the design as a whole, it looks very colorful and very much like a treehouse hideout, but it gets even more impressive the closer you look. Like how you can really see the different trees used to make the hideout, and all the different ways ropes are holding everything together!
And the massive collection of treasure in the middle could be from the shipwreck that the Lost Kids used to make the hideout, but we also can’t help wondering if they stole some from the pirates!
We also love that all the lighting fixtures aren’t even close to being the same size or shape. It really gives you the feel that they just used whatever they could, which is perfect for Neverland.
If you’re a big fan of eating by the water, there are some coveted tables you’ll likely hope to be seated at, because it looks to be that at least some of these tables will look out onto the water nearby! It’s a serene scene to really make you feel like you’re having a quick bite to eat before continuing to explore the island.
And we can’t get over how much the floor really gives the feel that the kids just patched everything together the best they could. Something breaks? Just slap a piece of wood over it and call it a day, then get back to playing.
We can’t wait to see all the beautiful photos of this restaurant in person!

I keep reading about all the fabulous things opening or have recently opened in Tokyo Disney but only mediocre things “promised” in Orlando Disney and yet Disney wonders why people’s attitude towards Disney isn’t great???
