We’ve seen our fair share of wild theme park ideas.
Not only is an entire Pirates of the Caribbean theme park in development in the actual Caribbean, but we’re also extremely invested in the gravy-themed roller coaster created by former Disney Imagineers. And, soon enough, a chocolate-themed ride will be opening, too!
BRB, booking a trip to England to check out Cadbury World! Yes, this chocolate theme park is working on the finishing touches for its newest ride opening soon. Cadbury Chocolate Quest (yes, that’s the real name) will be opening on March 29th according to Blooloop.
This indoor, trackless ride has nine Cadbury cars which are being polished up before the ride’s opening. Not only that, but staff members have been working on ensuring that the liquid chocolate featured at the end of the ride (!!!) is flowing correctly.
Riders will board a Cadbury car and go on an immersive quest to collect the ingredients needed to make a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, using lasers to zap them up. The best part is that after riding, you’ll be rewarded with a chocolate treat!
Cadbury World has used 3D-themed sets, virtual screens, sounds, lights, smells, and heat to create an immersive attraction.
Between this and the Good Gravy! roller coaster coming to Holiday World soon, we certainly like this trend of food-themed rides. Maybe Disney will give us a Dole Whip-themed ride someday!
