Happy Easter weekend, DFB friends!
Now we know not everyone celebrates Easter, but in Disney World spring and Easter are HUGE. We’ve already visited the AMAZING Easter Egg displays at several Disney World hotels (seriously, if you ever have a chance to see those, DO IT). We’ve also had our share of Easter and spring-themed snacks. Well, we got to witness another Disney World Easter tradition: the Easter parade!
What’s so great about this parade is that it only happens two days a year — Easter weekend. We managed to catch the parade today in Magic Kingdom, and we REALLY enjoyed it (like we always do). This year, the parade is happening on March 30th and 31st, so if you’re around, be sure to catch it!
It’s time for one of the RAREST Disney parades of the year! The Easter Parade kicked off this afternoon in Magic Kingdom 🐰🐣✨ pic.twitter.com/KqAqiHWkMR

We got our spot on Main Street, U.S.A. early, and enjoyed the festivities!
The parade starts with a banner wishing everyone a Happy Easter from Magic Kingdom.
We love seeing the return of the Fantasia Hippos in their pretty spring tutus.
The dancers are all done up in bright colors and kick up their heels for the crowds. How much fun are they having? It looks like a LOT.
Of course, you can’t have an Easter parade without an appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. They come floating down the parade route in a gazebo. This weekend, this couple is even more famous than Mickey and Minnie (maybe).
For once, the White Rabbit is NOT late, and he’s accompanied by dancing flowers and butterflies. So VERY Alice in Wonderland.
The chicks also do a little dance down the parade route, preparing the way for Clara Cluck.
And there she is! Clara Cluck, the diva herself. This is one of those rare times you actually get to see her in Disney World! One of the neat things about this parade float is that it has been used since the 1980s, and it has been used for many other parades over the years.
This parade is always so much fun and is a must if you’re visiting Disney World on Easter weekend. Disney does not share the parade times on the My Disney Experience app, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re in Magic Kingdom! They don’t call it a “secret” parade for nothing, after all.
