We are getting excited for all the things coming to Disney World this summer!
We just spotted something exciting in EPCOT!
We have new attractions opening and a brand-new area is coming to EPCOT. We recently spotted a BIG update at EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall (which is opening in June), and you’ve got to see this exciting news!
The EPCOT transformation is finally nearing completion! We have been keeping a close watch on the CommuniCore Hall and Plaza construction. CommuniCore Hall will be the first fully purpose-built structure for EPCOT festival programming. The Hall will feature a demonstration kitchen, mixology bar, art exhibits, and more. CommuniCore Plaza is the outdoor space that will feature live entertainment ranging from large-scale concerts to intimate performances.

While we were taking a look at the progress, we noticed something exciting happening! The colorful lights are being tested on CommuniCore Hall! One of our reporters saw the lights being tested in the panels and was able to capture some pictures. We have seen testing going on last week as well, but it is always fun seeing more updates.

The colors are currently cycling through blue-ish purple, green, red, and white colors.
The lights are on!
We noticed the concept art shows more of a gradient pattern in the lighting, so we will definitely be keeping our eyes on the progress to see what other patterns might show up!
One step closer to opening.
We are getting one step closer to the opening of this area on June 10th, 2024, as well as the debut of the new Encanto show in CommuniCore Plaza.
There are 4 different colors being cycled.
We have recently noticed new murals being added to the walls of the Hall, as well as the Mickey & Friends sign being added. So, seeing lights being tested is just another step towards opening!
We are excited for the space to open!
We always get excited when we spot things happening in the park, and we can’t wait to explore this new area when it opens in June!
