Hello, friends! It’s a beautiful day for a Disney World update!
It is officially April (where has the time gone?!), and we’re in the midst of springtime in the parks. The days are getting longer and warmer. Spring is a time of growth and change, and Disney World knows all about change. Things in the parks change all the time, but as we near Summer, more and more will be getting updates. So we’re here to tell you about a few upcoming Magic Kingdom changes that might affect your upcoming trip!
On April 7th, the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom will be changing its times! Currently, this parade, which features Mickey, Minnie, Disney Princesses, and more, is offered twice a day — noon and 3PM.
But starting on April 7th, this parade will only be available once a day at 3PM. This means that if you’re hoping to catch this parade, you’ll only have one chance a day to do so. So make sure you’re in the park and in position along the route to catch all your favorite Disney fantasy characters!
Also changing on April 7th, the Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom will have new times. Instead of parading through the Kingdom in the evening as it currently does, you’ll get to see your favorite pals in the morning!
According to Disney World’s website, the parade will now be offered at 10:30AM and 11:45AM. So if this is on your list of things to do in the parks, be sure to be in Magic Kingdom at least one morning of your trip!
You can join your favorite Disney and Pixar friends in singing and dancing as they wind their way through the park. It features characters like Nick and Judy from Zootopia, Baloo, Miguel, Merida, Moana, Elena, Toy Story characters, Clarabelle, and more!
It’s a fun little cavalcade for the whole family to enjoy, so be sure to take note of these time changes.
As another little reminder, the fireworks show in Magic Kingdom, Happily Ever After, will also be changing times in April and again in May.
On April 21st, the show will begin at 9PM, and on May 12th, it will start at 9:20PM. These changes are likely due to those longer nights as we approach summer. These are important changes to note as you plan your days in the parks! If you want to stay for the fireworks, then it might be a good idea to take a mid-afternoon nap. We have a few suggestions on good napping spots in the parks if you’re hoping to grab a quick power nap!
