If there isn’t some kind of seasonal treat being offered in Disney World during your vacation, I’ll eat my pants.
Okay, maybe I won’t do that, but it seems like there’s ALWAYS a slew of seasonal snacks to try out in the parks and resorts and Disney Springs! Heading into April, Disney is celebrating Earth Month and there are a few limited-time offerings that you might want to check out. We picked up two of them and I’m here to give you the full review!
Before I dive into the reviews, I just want to publicly apologize for destroying such beautiful pieces of art. Disney’s really going above and beyond with the decoration on these treats, y’all!
The Plant in the Boot Petit Cake
Returning to Amorette’s Patisserie this year is The Plant in the Boot Petit Cake, inspired by Wall-E! This cute lil cake is available in Disney Springs for $22.
It’s made with layers of carrot cake, cream cheese mousse, and pineapple jam, decorated with a tiny plant-filled boot on top and fondant.
The cake is incredibly soft and sweet, and the cream cheese pairs with it perfectly. The pineapple jam gets a little lost in the frosting and the fondant decor can kind of overwhelm the other flavors, but once you get down to the cake it’s quite delicious and balanced. Carrot cake fans will really love this!
These cakes are pretty pricey, so you might not want to spend the extra dough to get one, but it would be a nice. snack to split with someone else.
Here we go! This is the ‘Plant In The Boot Petit Cake’ from Amorette’s Patisserie! 🌱🥾

Would you spend $22 to buy a mini cake? I’m interested to know!
Raindrop Tart
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can visit The Mara for a brand-new Earth Month snack — the Raindrop Tart. It’s available for $6.49.
The Raindrop Tart is made with chocolate cake, pistachio crumb, passion fruit gel, vanilla cheesecake, and white chocolate mousse. It has a really stunning look with the blue raindrop dome!
I thought the cheesecake flavor was pretty strong in the mousse and the texture was deliciously creamy. The chocolate cake was also very soft! However, I had a hard time finding the pistachio or passion fruit flavors amongst the chocolate and cream cheese.
The tart shell was also pretty tough to eat and the blue gel decor made this treat pretty sugary. Ultimately, it’s really beautiful, and cheesecake fanatics would probably like it, but I don’t think it’s going to land at the very top of our recommended snack list for Animal Kingdom Lodge. (We’re still die-hard Zebra Dome fans!)
So there you go — the two treats we tried for Earth Month! We’ll keep you in the loop with more celebrations coming up soon, including any special offerings for Earth Day, which is also Animal Kingdom’s birthday! Stay tuned to DFB.
