A lot goes into planning a trip to Disney World.
First, you need to decide on a budget. Then you need to figure out how many days you want to go to the parks. Then you have to figure out where to stay. You also need to decide on how to get there, and for many of us, that answer is by flying. Well, if you’re at that stage of your Disney World planning, we’ve got some airfare deals to share with you!
The first deal comes courtesy of Frontier Airlines. Frontier is currently offering fares as low as $19 with bundles (which include checked bags, seat selection, and priority boarding) as low as $50. Say what? That sounds impossible, but it’s true.
Now for the small print: you need to be a Discount Den member to get the lowest fares, which costs $99.99 per year for new members and then $59.99 per year after that. These rates, though, would make a membership TOTALLY worth it, right? You also need to buy your ticket by April 4th. Deals are valid for nonstop travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June 30th and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from August 15th through September 30th. You’ll also have to avoid blockout dates.
That’s not all, though. United Airlines has also just revealed some new discount fares, starting at $91 for a roundtrip flight! Now, this is mostly for flights to and from Dallas, but if you live in the area, you might want to check it out for your next trip! Note that these fares are probably for Basic Economy, which means you would also need to pay extra for checked bags and seat selection.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more airfare deals, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

With Eastern and Continental gone, it’s Southwest all the way! They’re not the airline they used to be but they still offer you a ticket price that includes everything. Other airlines sell you a ticket, you think you’re done and then you have to select and buy a seat! And get nickeled and dimed for everything else! Unbelievable! I love that Southwest lets you choose your seat when you board and have you line up A, B, C to board. Two free checked bags plus a carryon and personal bag for under the seat. One of the best for on time departures (weather permitting) and arrivals (often ahead of schedule). They also have one of the best websites making it easy to make reservations, add early bird, online bag check in and faqs. They also have phone agents who answer fairly quickly. Though I miss the way they used to be, I have no interest in flying any other airline. They’re still heads above all the others (I used to be a travel agent and frequent flyer).
