If you’ve been to the Disney parks several times, you might be looking for something new to do. Sound like you? We’ve got just the thing!
Three words: After Hours events! Disneyland announced an entire lineup of Disneyland After Dark events for 2024, and we’ve already seen a few come and go like the brand new Disney Channel Nite! (It was epic, but that’s another story). Now, we have more details on a returning event from last year — Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite!
Pride Nite is back and is taking place on two dates this year: June 18th and 20th! This event takes place after dark of course and lets you experience exclusive entertainment and popular rides without high wait times. Now we know when tickets will be available!
Magic Key holders will get early access to tickets on April 9th, no earlier than 9AM PT. Then, on April 11th, tickets will go on sale to the general public, also no earlier than 9AM PT.
Head to the Disneyland website to purchase tickets! Disney said there will be an online queue and that you can use the new option to be digitally notified when it’s time to buy tickets (like we recently saw with the D23 event tickets).
So what does this event include? Well, in addition to celebrating and bringing together the LGBTQIA+ community, there will be special photo ops and entertainment options including:
- Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite Fireworks – WELCOME!
- Welcome Pride Cavalcade
- Pride Nite Dance Club along the Rivers of America
- Ohana Dance Party in Tomorrowland with Stitch
- Country Line Dancing at the Golden Horseshoe
With the ticket price, you’ll get into Disneyland early at 6PM before the event starts. Then at 9PM, you can take advantage of the event’s exclusive offerings!
Then to the most exciting part (at least for us), Disney revealed some of the food! Here’s a list of what Disney has announced so far:
- Key Lime Pudding and Red Berry Sangria at River Belle Terrace
- 5 Spice Popcorn Chicken at The Tropical Hideaway
- Funnel Cake with Cereal Milk and Multi-Colored Marshmallow Cereal Topping at Stage Door Café
- Firecracker Loaded Fries at Hungry Bear Restaurant
Special menu items will also be at Cafe Orleans and Plaza Inn will have dining packages with reserved viewing for the fireworks and the cavalcade. Reservations will be available online soon, but Disney did not specify exactly when.
Don’t forget — Star Wars Nite is also coming up on certain nights in April and May! Tickets are now on sale and it’s a must-do for the ultimate Star Wars fan. Disney is even hosting a cavalcade during the event that YOU could be a part of!
We’ll keep you updated on more Disney news, but in the meantime, mark your calendars for April 9th or 11th! Stay tuned for more.
