It’s official — spring break crowds seem to be disappearing from Disney World!
This may be a relief for many Florida locals, who have been dealing with Lightning Lanes selling out, and Magic Kingdom so crowded park hopping was paused. But how do we know for sure? Well, Genie+ has just dropped 20% in Disney World!Â
For nearly two weeks straight, the Genie+ price for Magic Kingdom/Multiple Parks was at the highest we had seen in 2024 at $39 per person per day. But now that spring break crowds are leaving and the parks aren’t as crowded, the prices have significantly dropped.
On April 7th, the prices were at:
- Magic Kingdom/Multiple Parks: $29
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $26
- EPCOT: $21
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $18
That’s a $6 drop from yesterday, April 6th, and a $10 drop overall for the past two weeks for Magic Kingdom/Multiple Parks! Checking out the price of Genie+ can be a great way to see how busy the parks are expected to be. Since Disney uses surge pricing for Genie+, the higher the price the more they anticipate larger crowds for that day.
We’re assuming we’ll see crowds continue to decrease as the days go on until summer vacations begin in late May. So, if you’re looking to plan a spontaneous trip soon, now may be a good time to do it!Â
This is the Disney World mistake we’ll guarantee you make in April
Beware, though, that temperatures are going to start to rise soon, so be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks when you need to in the parks! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
