Things are almost always changing in Disney World — sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse, depending on how you see things.
Attractions close and make way for new things (or refurbishments), and restaurants change their menus consistently. We’re firm believers that not all Disney World restaurants are built the same, and some are definitely weaker than others. These restaurants have been the weakest in our opinion in the past, BUT we actually have found ourselves enjoying them much more now!
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
GASP! Yes, we’re starting to change our tune when talking about Tony’s Town Square Restaurant! Previously, we thought this restaurant just had pretty basic, plain, and sometimes quite heavy food.
However, since they updated their menu back in 2022, we’ve started to actually love this restaurant. Specifically, we love their FOOTLONG (yes, not kidding!) mozzarella sticks and their garlic bread that comes with a cheesy sauce you pour all over it. Um, YUM.
Overall, we’ve just found that it’s a much more pleasant experience than it’s been in years past. It’s still not fancy Italian food, but we’d confidently say that it’s a solid choice now. So if you haven’t tried it in a few years, give it another try! Just be sure you get that garlic bread when you do!

Pinocchio Village Haus
This Fantasyland restaurant has often been the one we 1000% tell you to avoid because the menu items are just bleh, BUT NOW that’s all changed.
Now don’t get us wrong, this one didn’t get a total menu overhaul, but they’ve recently added some pretty good flatbread pizzas that we’ve been impressed by!
Now, these flatbreads are pretty basic, but they’re still pretty good if you’re looking for decent pizza in Magic Kingdom (which is hard to come by). Again, if you’ve written this one off in the past, give it another try!

ABC Commissary
ABC Commissary is a quick service spot located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and in years past, we’ve thought it was worth it to walk right by this less-than-popular spot. But again, it’s surprised us over the past few years!
We’ve had some great snacks here recently, but the real standout has been the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese, which yes, is just as wonderful as it sounds. Movie lovers will love this restaurant’s nods to the film industry, and big groups will love that there’s plenty of seating.
Overall, if you’re looking for a menu with a decent amount of solid options that are all pretty different from each other, ABC Commissary might just become your new favorite!
