Yes, you read that right! “Disney”, “Dining Plan”, and “free” are all in the same headline!
The Disney Dining Plan officially returned on January 9th after a several-year hiatus. It looks a little different now as prices have increased, rules have changed, and only two of the plans are available, but nevertheless, it’s BACK. At the start of 2024, Disney revealed a free Dining Plan deal for Disney+ subscribers and now that that’s over, it’s time for a NEW Dining Plan offer!
Disney recently announced a brand new Dining Plan deal for an exclusive group of Disney fans. Starting on April 9th, Disney Visa Cardmembers can get a FREE Disney Dining Plan! The deal will be available to book on certain arrival dates in July, September, and December. You must book a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Disney Travel Company Package with a Park Hopper ticket option to be eligible.
Not sure what all of this means or if it’s right for you? Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered! Disney Dining Plans are an optional add-on to a Disney World vacation package (which includes hotel and tickets). This means that the Disney Dining Plan is exclusive to guests staying in a Disney World Resort hotel. Disney Dining Plans are pre-purchased, so all you have to do when you get to Disney World is head to a restaurant that accepts the Disney Dining Plan and you’re good to use it!
We mentioned earlier that only two plans are currently available. Those are the Standard Disney Dining Plan and the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan.
According to the Disney World website, the Standard Disney Dining Plan includes:
- Everyone in the travel party will receive 1 Table-Service meal per night, 1 Quick-Service meal per night, and 1 snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of their package stay—along with 1 Resort-refillable drink mug. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay.
- Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older with valid identification may substitute for beer, wine, and cocktails.
The cost for the Standard Disney Dining Plan for 2024 is $94.28 per adult, per night (ages 10 and up), and $29.69 per child, per night (ages 3 to 9).
According to the Disney World website, the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan includes:
- Everyone in the travel party (ages 3 and up) will receive 2 Quick-Service meals per night, and 1 snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of their package stay – along with 1 Resort-refillable drink mug. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay.
- Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older with valid identification may substitute for beer, wine, and cocktails.
The cost for the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan for 2024 is $57.01 per adult, per day, and $23.83 per child (ages 3 to 9), per day.Â

Hi! How do you find the visa card member discount and what dates are applicable?
Matthew Brewster says
As a Florida resident owning a Pirate AP, I’d like to see the dining discount of 10% be raised to 20 or 25%! I am also a Senior, so it would also be great for folks like me to get an extra 10% discount. That way, I could finally partake in those marvelous- and expensive- BUFFETS that I used to enjoy every week!!!
