In fact, in most situations, you won’t even be able to do that anyway thanks to Disney World rules. Taking breaks from the parks and making sure you’re hydrated can also help!

It gets HOT in the parks — a wet, humid, heat that can be utterly stifling and if you’re not used to it, it can really ruin your trip. In addition to the heat, you’ve also got the looming threat of a sunburn hanging over your head to.

Because of this, many of our readers said they avoid going to Disney World during the summer months for these reasons alone. But, staying hydrated, taking precautions like wearing sunscreen, and staying in the shade can really make a huge difference.

Hurricane Season

Experts have predicted that the 2024 hurricane season will be worse than previous years, so it’s no wonder our readers are avoiding Disney World during that time like the plague. Hurricane season runs from the beginning of June through the end of November, and experts are now predicting it will be “potentially explosive.”
