Are you ready for another great festival’s return to Disney World?
While EPCOT is home to some pretty iconic festivals, like the ongoing 2024 International Flower & Garden Festival, it’s not the only place at Disney World where you can get some great food and beverages in a festival setting. In fact, Disney Springs actually hosts a fan-favorite event that is about to return!
Disney Springs’ Jaleo restaurant is once again hosting its annual Gin & Tonic Festival, running April 15th through April 28th, 2024!
Named after Spain’s national cocktail, the Gin & Tonic Festival will allow Disney Springs guests to “try a curated lineup of cocktails, featuring an appetizer, made with Fords Gin, Cynar, lavender, lemon and tonic, plus other classics like the Ultimate Gin & Tonic and the Mediterranean,” per Allied Global Marketing.
The event will also offer tapas pairings that “accentuate the flavors of the cocktails,” such as Patatas Bravas, “fried potatoes with spicy tomato sauce and creamy aioli, and Pan con tomate y queso manchego, flavorful toasted slices of crispy bread brushed with fresh tomato and served with Spanish Manchego cheese.” Um, YUM!
Complete festival offerings are as follows:
- Appetizer: Fords Gin, Cynar, lavender, lemon, tonic
- Saints: Tanqueray Gin, ginger, elderflower, aloe vera, tonic
- Ultimate: Hendrick’s Gin, juniper, lemon, lime, tonic
- El Patriarca: Genever, citrus expressions, tonic
- Mediterranean: Gin Mare, sweet and dry vermouth, lemon, lime, thyme, tonic water 16
- Patatas bravas: Fried potatoes with spicy tomato sauce and aioli
- Croquetas de pollo: Traditional chicken fritters
- BunÞuelos de bacalao: fried cod and potato fritters with honey alioli
- Pan con tomate y queso manchego: Toasted slices of crispy bread brushed with fresh tomato, served with Manchego cheese
Jaleo was created by celebrity chef and 2019 Nobel Peace Prize nominee José Andrés in 1993 and has since expanded to Disney Springs, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Dubai. The table-service Spanish restaurant Spanish restaurant features an extensive menu of contemporary Spanish cuisine.
