On April 10th, 1900 Park Fare officially reopened its doors!
This restaurant has been closed for nearly 4 years, since the pandemic in 2020. It is a character buffet, which means you get to visit with your favorite Disney pals while eating delicious food. The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. It’s no secret that we love Disney food, so of course, we headed over to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast on its opening day! Let’s see what’s changed and what is still the same about this beloved dining location.

We were up bright and early this morning so we wouldn’t miss our dining reservation at 1900 Park Fare! Since it is a character meal, you will need advance dining reservations to enjoy the restaurant. When we got there, we stepped through the beautiful, new, blue doors to await being seated.
Gooood morning from 1900 Park Fare for breakfast! 🎉 This restaurant is opening for the first time since the 2020 closures with NEW menu items and NEW characters! Let’s go! pic.twitter.com/Ly1aS78hYG

Disney had shared that the restaurant was to receive some refurbishments inside the dining room. Some new decor was added, and we love it!

Breakfast is a great time for coffee, but you know what else makes for a great morning beverage? POG juice! That’s right, we got POG juice right when we got there. They also have a list of specialty cocktails that you can choose from.
We got POG juice (‼️) and coffee, but there’s a menu of all specialty cocktails to choose from!

Disney has slightly changed the theme of the restaurant as well. It is now based on the many wishes that characters have made and that they made come true. When you get to the restaurant, you all get a wish card that you can write your own wish on! Of course, it’s also signed by the four characters you get to meet here, too — Aladdin, Mirabel, Cinderella, and Tiana.
And all guests get a wish card (that you can write your own wish on!) signed, of course, by our hosts Aladdin, Maribel, Tiana, and Cinderella! ✨

Speaking of characters, we got to visit with all of them! The change up of the characters here is a bit controversial, and we certainly did love the old one. You used to be able to meet Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, and others. But it was still a ton of fun to meet these new characters as well since we know they all made their wishes come true.
First, we met up with Mirabel.
It’s Mirabel! 👋✨ She talked to us about our wish cards and how with the help of our friends and family, our wishes can come true! 🌺 pic.twitter.com/api6pTiJBD

We also got to see the beautiful Cinderella on her way to the ball!

Aladdin was looking dashing in his Prince Ali outfit.
Look who hopped off his magic carpet ride just in time to say hi! 👋 It’s Aladdin! ✨

And Princess Tiana stopped by our table, ready for an adventure!
Tiana is debuting her NEW outfit here at 1900 Park Fare too! We think she’s the bees knees! 🐝 pic.twitter.com/bmb02L7FJJ

The new theme is totally adorable. It’s not only about those who made wishes but who made their wishes come true. As you look around the restaurant, you’ll spot details that give a nod to this theme. For example, the artwork on the walls is of the many characters who pushed onward and made their dreams come true.
Characters like Rapunzel and Ariel hang beautifully on the walls.
Other paintings you can see in the restaurant include Gepetto and Snow White…
…Tiana and Alice…
…Aladdin and Belle…
… Arthur and the biggest wish maker of all, Asha!
We grabbed a few cocktails off the menu — Cold Brew Martini, So Many Wishes, and Lavender Lemonade.
Let’s get to the menu! We are reviewing some of the drinks first. Here we have the non-alcoholic So Many Wishes ($6.29) and Lavender Lemonade ($6.29).

Since it’s a buffet, we loaded up our plates with tons of delicious food! There were Mickey waffles, Eggs Benedict, sausage, bacon, omelets, and so much more.
Now breakfast at 1900 Park Fare IS a buffet-style meal! So here’s a peek at what that looks like this morning!

But of course, the famous Strawberry Soup was the first thing we grabbed.
You’ll also find other sweets on the buffet such as donut holes, muffins, and other pastries!
There are also sweets like donut holes, double-chocolate muffins, and the CLASSIC fan-favorite Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup! 🍓

Will not go back until they bring Mary Poppins back.

It won’t be the same! I will
Surely miss the Alice in Wonderland characters. They were a perfect fit for 1900 Fare Park. You can see the new characters in other places in WDW.
What shame and disappointment!
The buffet looks smaller too. Thumbs down!!!
John says
Too bad Disney ruined another good thing as always
Jacqueline says
What is the deal with replacing the characters that match the theme with characters that do not. How can you replace Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins at the Grand Floridian???? They are such a huge part of it ! Whose idea was this ?!
pattie says
When my husband and sister and brother n law went there was Alice n wonderland characters n there and the buffet looks smaller and the bowls of strawberry soup that it was served n were bigger and when my sister and me went it was Cinderella and her step mother and step sisters it and one Morning that only my sister and me went let us peek n there were having a tea party for kids with Alice n wonderland it look so adorable they need to go back to how they had it before there is an old saying if it’s not broke don’t fix it and they fixed it and that is a shame
