We’re still about a year away from the opening of Universal Orlando’s brand-new theme park, Epic Universe.
However, Universal has been dropping a TON of hints about all five lands in the new theme park, as well as details about some of the rides and attractions in those lands (we’re really excited about the How To Train Your Dragon-themed land). Well, today we learned a bit more about the new HOTELS that are also coming to Universal Orlando as part of that expansion, including confirmation of the room rates.
The two new hotels coming to Universal Orlando are co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co. They are the Universal Stella Nova Resort and the Universal Terra Luna Resort.
Universal Stella Nova Resort is set to open on January 21st, 2025, while Universal Terra Luna Resort will open on February 25th, 2025. The hotels will “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”
Together, both hotels offer 1,500 “ultramodern” rooms with rates starting at $147 per night (plus tax) based on a stay of four nights or more. Previously, we had checked the Loew’s website for rates, which showed starting rates of $189 per night for Universal Stella Nova Resort and $210 per night at Universal Terra Luna Resort. So it looks like there might be some cheaper options available!
Universal also released this new video showing more concept art for the hotels:
Of course, what’s really important is the FOOD available at both hotels: Here’s what you can look forward to when it comes to dining:
- Cosmos Cafe and Market at Stella Nova Resort and Omega Cafe and Market at Terra Luna Resort are quick service locations with a selection of grab-and-go items.
- Galaxy Bar and Galaxy Grill at Stella Nova Resort and Moonrise Bar and Moonrise Grill at Terra Luna Resort are bars and grills where guests can grab drinks and dine on burgers, quesadillas, and salads.
- Nova Bar at Stella Nova Resort and Luna Bar at Terra Luna Resort are lobby bars with specialty cocktails
Both hotels will also feature pools, fitness centers, game rooms, recreation rooms, Universal stores, and more. Both hotels also offer Early Park Admission to Universal Volcano Bay and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, as well as complimentary shuttle buses to the theme parks and Universal CityWalk.
Stay tuned to DFB for more!
