Most of us choose flying when it comes to traveling to Disney World.
That’s why we try to keep you updated on any new nonstop flights that fly to Orlando International Airport. However, we’ve been seeing a handful of airlines canceling their routes to Orlando, recently. Now, another airline has paused flights to the city, too.
According to WMMT, Avelo Airlines is pausing direct flights to Orlando International Airport from Kalamazoo, Michigan. However, this is a temporary halt on those routes, and service to and from Orlando will resume at a later date.
This is a seasonal hiatus that began after April 8th, with flights expected to resume from Kalamazoo to Orlando in November, just in time for the holiday season in Disney World. Several other small airports have also seen flights to Orlando paused temporarily.
So if you had plans to fly to Disney World from Kalamazoo this summer, you’ll need to find a solution with another airline, although it’s likely you could find connecting flights on Avelo to Orlando.
