Is Critter Co-Op hiding some secrets?
We’re getting SO close to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney World — and we can’t contain our excitement. That means we’re also taking a deep dive into everything we can to get as many hints as possible about what is to come during (and around) this attraction. Recently, Disney announced two NEW stores that will surround the ride — however, we think one of those stores is hiding some secrets… and we’re here to unpack them.
As we see Imagineers adding more and more details to the ride and the shops being unveiled– we have one MAJOR question.
Will we be getting a Princess and the Frog-themed restaurant in Magic Kingdom? While we haven’t gotten any announcements about it from Disney, there is a restaurant — Tiana’s Palace — already OPEN at Disneyland! This has given us some hope that we’ll be seeing an announcement for one at Disney World –– however, the new store, Critter C0-Op, might have just given us a MAJOR clue that makes us feel like one could really be in the works.
When you’re walking by Critter Co-Op, make sure you take a look at the window displays. In them, you’ll see a ton of fun signs, some vegetables, and even a note that is from the kitchen of Tiana’s Palace. That’s right, Tiana’s Palace… like the restaurant that is at Disneyland!
Seeing stationary from Tiana’s Palace really makes us feel like it could be a HUGE hint about a coming restaurant that hasn’t been announced for Disney World quite yet. Maybe it’s wishful thinking… however, we know that Disney LOVES to include easter eggs for things throughout their stores and attractions, so we feel like this could be one of those situations.
We’re hoping for a restaurant announcement soon, and we’re hoping Disney hears our cries for it and maybe… just maybe will give us what we are BEGGING for. Seriously, how amazing would it be to eat some fresh beignets that Tiana’s just whipped up and enjoy a café au lait while roaming Frontierland?!
In the meantime, keep checking in with us at DFB for the latest Disney news!
