A popular drink at EPCOT’s Italy pavilion has us BUZZING.
Italy Pavilion in EPCOT
While we love the varied restaurants and food establishments around EPCOT’s World Showcase, part of the area’s appeal goes beyond fresh-made food. In fact, some of the best things to sample in World Showcase are the prepackaged food and drinks from each of the represented countries.
Recently, we tried the bottled San Benedetto Peach Tea available in Italy. According to a cast member we spoke with, San Benedetto’s drinks are popular across Italy, in particular the Peach Tea and Lemon variants.
As soon as we heard these are popular in Italy, we had to try it!
We immediately noticed that it was not too sweet, and we were able to tell there was a mix of real sugar and artificial sweeteners. The peach flavor is strong. In fact, unlike American variations of iced tea, the drink didn’t feature a heavy taste of herbal tea flavor, with the drink instead being dominated by the taste of peach. Overall, we found the whole drink thoroughly refreshing.
We’d definitely recommend giving the Peach Tea a try next time you’re in EPCOT. Each of the 11 country pavilions around EPCOT features unique and fun items to sample directly from the country their representing. If you want to try authentic foods and drinks, stop by one of the many stores and snack counters in World Showcase!

I can vouch for how good this tea is. I had several (bought from beverage carts or little stores) in Rome and Florence last year. Very refreshing and delicious flavor.
