As Disney fans, you likely use multiple online Disney sources for entertainment, news, shopping, and more.
If you’re like us, you probably have several accounts across multiple Disney services. This could include the Disney World app, the Disneyland app, Disney+, D23, ESPN, ABC, and many more. It can be challenging to keep track of all those accounts and passwords. Plus, sometimes there’s a benefit, such as discounts, if you have those accounts linked. Up until now, it wasn’t an incredibly seamless system. But now Disney has just launched a new “unified login experience” to help you enjoy everything together!
Previously, if you used the same email for multiple Disney services, you could see that they were linked together. But it wasn’t necessarily for ALL services that the Walt Disney Company owns and manages, and it was always so seamless. But now, MyDisney has just been introduced which will solve the problem of having multiple accounts with multiple passwords on multiple services and experiences.
When you log in to any of the MANY apps, websites, and services that the Walt Disney Company owns, you’ll see the MyDisney logo which will prompt you to use one email and one password for each of the services and experiences. You’ll then be able to manage all of your Disney services under one account on the MyDisney website. The new website allows you to log out of all experiences, manage your marketing preferences from Disney, and change any account settings across all of the services.
Next time you log into any of the services connected to MyDisney, you’ll be prompted to update your password for that service using the one you set up for MyDisney. From then on, all your accounts using the same email address will use the same password. No more having to remember 1739 passwords!
If you use more than one email across Disney services, you’ll need to cancel any subscriptions associated with an email address you don’t want to use. Then sign up for the same subscription using the email you want to use with MyDisney. You’ll then be prompted to enter your MyDisney password (basically, it’ll act like you already have an account since you have a MyDisney account).
There are a TON of services that will now use MyDisney. Aside from the parks and experiences shown above, you’ll also be able to use it for entertainment, runDisney, Disney Weddings, and local ABC channels.
It can also be used with Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and other streaming services.
Plus, if you want to shop or use your ESPN account, it will all be seamlessly connected to MyDisney.
Even though you were already able to link your accounts, MyDisney is making it easier and much more seamless. We’re excited that we don’t have to remember all those passwords anymore! The one centralized website to manage subscription settings is certainly a useful tool.
