The Resistance needs YOU. You up for the task? At Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, the “ultimate Star Wars extravaganza,” you can join the ranks of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and the Mandalorian (with Grogu, of course) and embark on an EPIC night of fun!
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is HERE! This special event is happening on select nights this April and May. The event is full of Star Wars snacks, character interactions, special entertainment, and more. Want to see EVERYTHING there is to see and do during the event? Come with us — we’re going to a galaxy far, far away.
First, let’s talk logistics. The event takes place on April 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th, and May 2nd, 7th, and 9th. It officially runs from 9PM to 1AM, but you can enter Disneyland Park as early as 6PM.
Tickets range from $159–$169 per person (ages 3+).
Attractions
Note that Disney Genie+ is not available during the event, but don’t worry — the wait times should be niiiice and low anyway. Speaking of rides, you can check out all those classic Star Wars-themed attractions during the event. We’re talking Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and, of course, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Disney shared that Rise of the Resistance closes early on event nights and is subject to availability, which may vary and is not guaranteed.
Entertainment
OK, where to START?! There are SO. MANY. fun things happening during this event! From Galactic Encounters to Other Worldly Entertainment, there is A LOT to check out at Star Wars Nite.
One thing we are SUPER excited to talk about is the Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade — A Star Wars Nite Costume (Cosplay) Showcase.

During this parade, visitors dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters can participate in a special celebration — right down Main Street, U.S.A.
No After-Hours event is complete without some RARE characters, right? At Star Wars Nite, you can encounter:
- Jawas and R5-D4
- Ewoks
- BB-8
- Queen Amidala
- Ahsoka Tano
- C-3PO
- Fennec Shand
- Hera Syndulla and Chopper
- The Mandalorian with Grogu
- Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and Imperial Stormtroopers
- Emperor Palpatine and Royal Guards
- Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and R2-D2
- Mickey Mouse (bounding in a Star Wars-themed look)
- Minnie Mouse (bounding in a Star Wars-themed look)
We were lucky enough to encounter C-3PO! C-3PO was out greeting his adoring fans and we must say he was looking particularly shiny.

We also stopped by to meet an Ewok. They showed off their best moves for us!
We even caught a glimpse of Queen Amidala. She looked quite royal in her outfit as she interacted with guests.
Up next, we spotted the Jawas and R5-D4 taking photos!
BEWARE! We encountered some members of the Dark Side, including Darth Maul.
Look! It’s Darth Vader and some Storm Troopers. Quick, act natural — we think Darth Vader may be looking at us.
And of course, we can’t forget out BB-8. He was also out and meeting with Star Wars fans.
Up next, we were off to the March of the First Order Featuring Captain Phasma. Look out! The First Order is searching for a Resistance spy in Tomorrowland. The First Order is pretty ruthless, and we’ve been warned that opposition will NOT be taken lightly.
The Force connects us, but so does this FUN event! We stopped by the Millennium Falcon to participate in Lightsaber Meet-Up with Rey. Yes, it was as epic as it looks.
The sheer number of lightsabers being held up was incredible. It was such a beautiful sight and definitely a memorable moment of the evening.
Speaking of lightsabers, we could use a little training! Luckily, we had some time to attend the Lightsaber Instructional, where we learned all about how to wield a lightsaber.
It’s time for a Lightsaber instructional! We have to be prepared for all that lies ahead tonight! 💥 #StarWarsNite pic.twitter.com/kCKACUrQbg

Our elite instructor was VERY talented, and watching their demonstration of lightsaber skills was BREATHTAKING.
Music break! The Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes are here (fresh off their gig at Mos Eisley, we hear) and ready to play some of their greatest hits.

You can spot them on the Rivers of America, but you’ll probably hear that iconic music first.
There’s no party like a Star Wars party, and the Galactic DJ Party Zone is the place to BE!
The DJ on Main Street, U.S.A. is playing alllll our favorite songs.
Food
Time for a bite to eat! We visited The Tropical Hideaway to try the Pineapple and Ube Crescent Sundae. This sundae is Dole Whip, popping moss, and chocolate drizzle, and it costs $8.49.
The prominent flavors in this sundae were the Pineapple Dole Whip and ube flavor. The ube was present but not overbearing. It was a fun snack, but it didn’t blow us away. However, if you like Dole Whip, this could be a great option!
Hungry Bear Restaurant is serving a Lah’mu Burger for $15.99. The burger features an Angus chuck patty, roasted sweet corn, poblano peppers, queso fresco, Chile lime sauce, and avocado smash.
This burger was tasty, but a huge warning that it is also very spicy! Like really spicy. The avocado was fresh, although there wasn’t a whole lot of it. We thought the meat was juicy and seasoned well, and the corn added a really nice crunch. Just remember, this burger is SPICY! The flavors all come together very well, but you have been warned.

For dessert, we went with the Galactic Princess Sundae from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. How CUTE is this?! The sundae is brown sugar cinnamon ice cream topped with marshmallow creme, caramel sauce, streusel and cinnamon rolls. It costs $10.79.
We thought this sundae was delicious! The brown sugar ice cream was sweet and had lots of cinnamon flavor. The marshmallow creme added a great sweet flavor, like the frosting on a cinnamon roll. The caramel sauce was perfect, and the streusel added a nice crunch. This is definitely a must-get dessert at Star Wars Nite.
We also got these Mos Eisley Spaceport Cookies from Harbour Galley! This dessert is three freshly baked chocolate chip cookies stacked with sweet corn cereal whipped topping and costs $6.49.
These cookies are soft and very chocolatey! We thought the sweet corn cereal whipped topping was delicious and light. It tasted just like the frosted flakes flavored whipped cream.
We had so much fun at the first Star Wars Nite of the year. We are just getting started on Star Wars Nite, though! We’re covering ALL the Star Wars Nite festivities, so stick around for more!
