Listen, you can never say that you don’t have options when it comes to dining at Disney World!
With over 200 restaurants to choose from, you can almost go to a different spot every day for most of the year without repeating, and some really great places are universally loved (we’re looking at you, Boma). That reminds us that some spots are incredible but for some unknown reason, they keep flying under the radar. Let’s discuss these underrated restaurants and give them the love they deserve!
Since these spots keep flying under the radar, let’s waste no time and dive right in!
Sebastian’s Bistro
You’ll find Sebastian’s Bistro nestled along the backside of the check-in building that houses Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Its building is also attached to the neighboring Banana Cabana Pool Bar & Lounge.
Sebastian’s Bistro only offers a family-style dinner menu that is inspired by Caribbean and Latin cuisine, meaning it’s a set menu that’s brought out to your table with a few salad and bread service to get you started, enhancements to add on to your meal, several beverage options, and an included dessert.
Overall, we love the Caribbean and Latin flavors of the food here and can’t get enough of the bread pudding!

Citricos
Citricos is on the second floor of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. The restaurant serves American dishes with Mediterranean influences. When it reopened in 2021, it had a fresh new look inspired by Mary Poppins Returns, complete with easter eggs around the dining room from the film. This restaurant has a bright and airy nature, with tons of windows and natural light.
If you’re looking for an elevated experience and love Mediterranean-inspired food, this is a spot you can’t pass up on.
Overall, we’ve enjoyed our experiences here. The service is always great and the atmosphere is beautiful. Also, the food here is generally very good, and, fun fact, it’s one of the few Michelin-recognized restaurants on the property.

Rosa Mexicano
Rosa Mexicano (located at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort) offers guests an “elevated fiesta dining experience” for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You’ll find here a contemporary interpretation of authentic Mexican cuisine.
Overall, if you are looking to enjoy some Mexican food, you’ll enjoy these selections. Plus, it’s all served in a beautiful, airy, colorful restaurant with upbeat music. It may not be the cheapest food on Disney World property, but it can be more reasonable than certain other table-service restaurants. Also, since it is located at the Dolphin Hotel, it’s just a stone’s throw away from EPCOT!

Grand Floridian Cafe
Like Citricos, the Grand Floridian Cafe is also located inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa and it’s a largely underrated restaurant. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dishes are moderately priced and generally very tasty. Because it’s not very well known, you may find it relatively easy to get an Advance Dining Reservation here and you can check for walk-up availability.
Grand Floridian Café is a little more off the beaten path. You’ll definitely notice that it’s a quiet Victorian retreat from the crowds and noise.
As we said, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the menu are typically a seasonal soup, salads, steak & eggs, pancakes, french toast, and more. One of the standout items that’s served for breakfast and lunch is the Buttermilk-fried Chicken and Waffle. It comes with a hand-breaded chicken breast, a malted waffle, and a sriracha-honey drizzle (one of our favorite meals).
Also, for the ultimate treat, you must ask if the Strawberry Soup is available. It’s a dish you can usually find at 1900 Park Fare, but we’ve also had it at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It’s a cold, refreshing, soup with the slightest level of sweetness and fresh whipped cream. You can’t miss it (if it’s available).
Overall, we love dining here. For whatever reason, this spot can often fly under the radar a lot. Don’t pass this place up!
