🚨GRAB THOSE CALENDARS 🚨 We’ve got an important date you need to mark down ASAP!
In 2024, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival runs through May 27th, but Disney is already getting prepared for the NEXT festival that’ll hit the park — the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! Complete with outdoor food kitchens, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, and much more, this is one of the BIGGEST Disney World events of the year. And now we know when it’ll start!
The 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will officially begin on August 29th and run through November 23rd, 2024! WOOOOO! Get READY FOLKS!
This year, you’ll be able to explore food booths (as always) that capture the flavors of countries across 6 different continents. We cannot wait to see what new and returning items will be available.
But wait…there’s MORE! The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will be back as well, bringing popular bands to the America Gardens Theatre. The Eat to the Beat Dining Packages are also expected to return in 2024, though details have not yet been released. Subscribe to our newsletter so you get the latest updates once we’ve got all that info!
Based on the details listed on the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival website, it seems we can also expect to see the return of the Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt (what will the prize be?!) and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit (as a special treat during the Halloween season). These activities (which you can participate in for a small fee) typically give you the chance to find characters hidden throughout the park and claim a prize.
Plus, it appears Emile’s Fromage Montage is likely to return as well. This is a food challenge that allows you to claim a FREE prize if you buy certain qualifying foods. This challenge is alllllll about the cheese so those who love cheeses will absolutely want to check this out.
It seems we’ll also be able to likely find mini festival gift cards and more at this year’s event. We can’t wait to hear more about what the Festival will include. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter (as we mentioned above) and follow us on social media (X – formerly Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) so you can get all of the latest information!
Don’t forget to check out our BOOK GUIDES to the Food & Wine Festival! It has everything you need to know about the festival from start to finish.

I wonder why it’s starting so much later this year

The Flower & Garden Festival ends May 27th. You mean to tell me Epcot will go festival-less for a whopping three months? What gives???

Not happy with the dates at all, we booked our trip with the thought of enjoying the Food and Wine Festival with family and friends, which usually starts at the end of July. boooo Disney

We have gone several times to the food and wine festival and we absolutely love it. We’re thinking about selling our DVC but before we do that we’re going one more time in October. Can’t wait.
Carol says
Maybe they want people to explore EPCOT without the festival. We always go during the wine and food festival. It will be nice to explore everything without the booths. Eat at the restaurants, drink at the bars, shop, etc. Just like before they had festivals.

Boo is right. That is soooo late! I’m sure they want to minimize the impact of all the free dining offers they gave for the summer, since booth items are great with snack credits. F&G ends in May, Free dining= July to September , F&W only in September ….I’m on to you Disney! LOL
Robert Carter says
Really disappointed Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was not invited this year. First time I can remember. What’s going on Disney?
