Drinking around the world can be a great way to get a taste of each country in the World Showcase in EPCOT!

When you drink around the world, you make a stop in each country for a drink. We also highly recommend grabbing some food and air conditioning as you make your way around, and maybe sharing those drinks with a friend or alternating cocktails and mocktails. Otherwise, you likely won’t make it very far in your quest around the world!
One of the best parts of drinking around the world is getting to try a bunch of different drinks from different countries. You have LOTS of options, and you can even drink around the world with non-alcoholic drinks! However, there are a few drinks that we would likely not get again, and we wanted to share them with you!
Welsh Dragon from Rose & Crown in the United Kingdom
The first cocktail we want to mention is the Welsh Dragon from Rose & Crown. Now, we know some people are fans of this drink, but it doesn’t rank high on our list of drinks you can get at Rose & Crown. The Welsh Dragon is Peach Schnapps, Melon Liqueur, Creme de Menthe, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice. The Peach Schnapps and Creme de Menthe just don’t mix very well together in our opinion, making this a little rough to drink. We recommend checking out a drink like the Snake Bite Imperial Pint or Pimm’s Cup from Rose & Crown.

Hot Sake from Kabuki Cafe in Japan
Next up, we are heading over to Japan for the Hot Sake. This drink was not a favorite when drinking around the world. Drinking hot alcohol during the Florida heat is just not super appetizing. The hot sake is just sake that is heated up, so it is also a pretty plain drink. But what really got us here was the fact that we were drinking hot liquid on a hot day — it may be something to try on a chilly day, though. We love the Sake Mist you can get from Kabuki Cafe! The Sake Mist is essentially an alcoholic shaved ice and it is perfect for those hot days at Disney World.
EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion
1921 La Crema Tequila from La Cava del Tequila in Mexico
Let’s just start by saying this tequila is delicious. The tequila is smooth and almost tastes like a liqueur. The reason it made this list is not because of taste or quality, but simply because of how dangerous this one is. It is some strong stuff. The alcohol hits you hard from this one, and when you are trying to drink your way around the whole world, you don’t want to get taken down by one of your drinks. This is a straight shot of tequila, and it gets you. We recommend trying one of the margaritas from La Cava del Tequila like El Diablo.

Overall, there are so many great options for drinks in the World Showcase! In fact, it was very difficult to come up with drinks for this list. There are definitely drinks that some people like more than others, but finding a truly bad drink is pretty hard. And, part of the fun of drinking around the world is trying drinks you may not have normally tried.
