There are a few places that offer a really good Disney World burger. We’re big fans of D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs, personally. But we’ll never say no to a McDonald’s burger, either.
We’ll also frequently order the Stack Burger from Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Cheeseburger Pods from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom are pretty much on our list of things we’ll eat EVERY DAY if we can. But when it comes to plant-based burgers, the pickings are rather slim. That is why we’re excited to tell you about a plant-based burger we just discovered!
Alright, we usually visit Hurricane Hanna’s at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to get a nice, cold cocktail, but there are some snacks available on the menu, too. When we recently visited, we saw an Impossible Burger on the menu, made with lettuce, tomato, and tomato jam on a brioche bun for $11.99. Let’s just say that this was a very good decision. First, y’all, that tomato jam is nice and sweet, and we really wanted a lot more of it. That alone elevated this burger.
You also get plenty of veggies, and the brioche bun is sweet and very fresh, as was the burger. Although when it comes to plant-based burgers, our fave just might be the spicy Southwest Impossible Burger from Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom, this one might just be a close second. For just over $10, it feels like you’re getting a bargain on a gourmet burger. Talk about a GREAT surprise!
So, if you happen to find yourself in the EPCOT Resorts area and need a good plant-based option for lunch, hop on over to Hurricane Hanna’s for this burger.
