April is winding down in Disney World and you know that soon, it’s GONNA’ BE MAY (sorry, couldn’t resist).
It’s been a busy week, though. We got the dates for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival and it looks like the festival is going back to an August start, something we haven’t seen since 2019. While we wait for menus to be released for the festival, though, we’re checking out new plant-based burgers, Spiked Coffee, and more. We’re also keeping an eye out for menu changes at Disney World restaurants.
Magic Kingdom
Cinderella’s Royal Table
The breakfast menu got some updates:
- REMOVED: Royal Avocado Toast and Caramel Apple-stuffed French Toast
- ADDED: Traditional Plant-based Breakfast — Plant-based Scrambled Eggs with Peppers, Onions, and Spinach served with Impossible Breakfast Sausage, Charred Tomatoes, and Multigrain Toast
- ADDED: Banana-stuffed French Toast — Decadent French Toast stuffed with Sweet Cream Cheese and Bananas drizzled with Caramel Sauce and Served with Bacon
Lunch and dinner have also changed. Here’s how Entrees were updated:
- Roasted Lamb Chops description changed from “Warm Winter Squash Salad, Pomegranate, Pistachios and Honey Balsamic Reduction” to “Potato Pavé, Asparagus, and Honey-Balsamic Glaze”
- REMOVED: Parisian Gnocchi
- ADDED: Pan-roasted Cauliflower — Quinoa Salad with Tomato Jam and Chimichurri
Desserts also saw changes:
- REMOVED: Coffee Pot de Crème
- The Clock Strikes Twelve description changed from “Dark Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel and Crunchy Praline Center, served with Chocolate Sauce and Hazelnut Gelato” to “Chocolate Ganache Tart topped with Salted Caramel-Coffee Mousse”
- ADDED: Floating Island — Raspberry Meringue with Tropical Fruit Coulis and Plant-based Ganache
- ADDED: Berries Mousse — Blueberry Ganache, Chocolate Biscuit, and Seasonal Berries
A new kid’s dessert is also available: The Sword in the Sweet — White Chocolate Sword in a Chocolate and Marshmallow Mousse “Stone” atop Cocoa “Soil.”

EPCOT
La Hacienda de San Angel
Starters at La Hacienda de San Angel have changed:
- REMOVED: Additional Chips and Additional Salsa or Queso
- Queso Fundido description changed from “Melted Cheese with Chorizo, Peppers, and Onions, served with Flour Tortillas” to “Melted cheese with chorizo, peppers, onions, and avocado mousse, served with flour tortillas”
A new House Specialty was added: Tomahawk Steak — Tomahawk ribeye with whipped potatoes, esquites, mushrooms, and grilled vegetables for $120 (not included in the Disney Dining Plan).
The margaritas at La Hacienda have been updated:
- San Angel Inn Margarita description changed from “Casa Dragones blanco tequila, Torres orange liqueur, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, black ant salt rim” to “Centinela añejo tequila, Alma Finca orange liqueur, rosé wine, Abasolo corn whiskey, fresh lime juice, black ant salt rim”
- El Diablo description changed from “Tromba blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, agave, cucumber-jalapeño juice with hibiscus salt rim” to “Lalo blanco tequila, Dos Hombres mezcal, fresh lime juice, cucumber-jalapeño juice, hibiscus salt rim”
- The Cucumber description changed from “Arette blanco tequila, fresh cucumber and lime juice, orange liqueur, agave with Tajín chile-lime powder rim” to “Tromba blanco tequila, fresh cucumber and lime juice, vodka, Abasolo corn whiskey, Rhubarb bitters, Tajín chile-lime powder rim”
- Blood Orange description changed from “Ambhar blanco tequila, orange liqueur, sweet-tart mix of blood orange, hint of rum and vanilla, with a Tajín chile-lime powder rim” to “Tromba blanco tequila, blood orange vodka, gin, LeJay black currant liqueur, Dos Hombres mezcal, Tajín chile-lime powder rim”
- The Wild One description changed from “Teremana blanco tequila, mango-passion fruit purée, Ancho Verde chile liqueur, lime juice, Abasolo corn whiskey and ginger with black ant salt rim” to “Centinela blanco tequila, Combier orange liqueur, ginger rum, corn passion fruit cordial, lime juice, Dos Hombres mezcal, grenadine, hibiscus salt rim”
- Clásica description changed from “Mi Campo Reposado Tequila, Orange Liqueur, Lime Juice, Agave with a salt rim” to “Centinela blanco tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, agave, salt rim”
- La Hacienda Smoked Old Fashioned description changed from “Aged in house, Heavens Door bourbon, ilegal reposado mezcal, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, Nixta elote liqueur, chocolate bitters” to “Aged in house, Rough Rider bourbon, ilegal reposado mezcal private barrel, Ancho Reyes barrica chile liqueur, Nixta elote liqueur, chocolate-mole bitters”
- ADDED: La Paloma — Lalo blanco tequila, Fever-Tree grapefruit soda, fresh lime, Dos Hombres mezcal, Tajin chile-lime powder rim for $19
- ADDED: La Flaca — Fever-Tree Lime Yuzu soda, Tromba reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, splash of agave nectar for $20

San Angel Inn
San Angel Inn also saw a menu change. Costillas de Puerco has been added to Soups and Starters. This is Fire braised pork spareribs with queso fresco, Ranchera salsa, and chicharrones for $16.
That’s the only update here.

Coral Reef Restaurant
Coral Reef has done a bit of a menu overhaul. Here’s how Appetizers has changed:
- REMOVED: Seafood Artichoke Dip, New England Clam Chowder, Shrimp Cocktail, and Reef Salad
- ADDED: Caribbean Salad — Tomatoes, Onions, Avocado, Crispy Plantains, Pigeon Peas, and Key Lime Vinaigrette for $12
- ADDED: Sweet Corn Bisque — Coastal Crab, Grilled Corn Relish for $11
- ADDED: Coconut Fried Shrimp — Mango Chutney for $18
- ADDED: Grilled Chicken Wings — Jamaican-spiced Rum Glaze, Green Onions for $15
Entrees also saw a lot of changes:
- REMOVED: Shrimp and Grits, Mushroom Gyoza, Seared Verlasso Salmon, Slow-roasted Prime Rib, and Harissa Chicken
- ADDED: Shrimp Scampi — Fettuccine, Garlic, Lemon, White Wine, Butter, Parsley for $34
- ADDED: Roasted Cauliflower — Cippolini Onions, Key West Curry, Walnut-Gremolata, Radish for $27
- ADDED: Seafood Boil — Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, Andouille Sausage, Sweet Corn, Potatoes for $34
- ADDED: Surf and Turf — Filet Mignon, Grilled Shrimp, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Key Lime Chimichurri
- ADDED: Mojo Chicken — Caribbean Rice, Black-eyed Peas, Crispy Garlic Plantains for $29
Even Desserts have changed:
- REMOVED: The Chocolate Wave, Key Lime Tart, Mixed Berry Mousse, and Baileys Almande and Jack Daniel’s Mousse
- ADDED” Chocolate Mousse Bar — Baileys Almande, Chocolate Ganache, Almonds, Orange Coral for $10

The Kid’s Clam Chowder was replaced with Corn Bisque for $3.25. Here’s how Kid’s Create-Your-Own Entrees changed:
- REMOVED: Grilled Fish of the Day and Jr. Reef Prime Rib
ADDED: Sustainable Fish — Served with choice of two Selections and choice of Small Lowfat Milk, Small DASANI Water, or Small Minute Maid Apple Juice for $14 - ADDED: Grilled Steak — Served with choice of two Selections and choice of Small Lowfat Milk, Small DASANI Water, or Small Minute Maid Apple Juice for $16
Here’s how The Kid’s Create-Your-Own Selections changed:
- REMOVED: Corn, Green Beans, Jasmine Rice, Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Fruit Salad, Nemo and Squirt’s Noggin Concoction, and Sea Breeze Gelatin Cup
- ADDED: Corn on the Cob, Plantain Chips, Caribbean Rice, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, and Nemo Fin-tastic Cake

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
Trail’s End
Breakfast has seen some changes at Trail’s End. Here’s how Entrees are different now:
- Bounty Platter description changed from “Scrambled Eggs, French Toast Sticks, Potato Barrels, and a Biscuit served with Bacon and Sausage” to “Scrambled Eggs, Mickey-shaped Waffle, and Potato Barrels served with Bacon and Sausage” and price changed from $12.99 to $12.79
- REMOVED: Bacon Breakfast Croissant Sandwich and Sausage Breakfast Croissant Sandwich
- ADDED: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel Sandwich — Served with Potato Barrels for $8.99
- ADDED: Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich — Served with Potato Barrels for $8.99
Cheese Grits for $4.49 has been added to Sides. Here’s how Bakery items have changed:
- Cinnamon Roll has been replaced by Mickey Cinnamon Roll — Served with Cream Cheese Icing for $7.49

Under Desserts, we saw the following updates:

Breakfast has changed at the Grand Floridian Cafe: Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes have been removed from the menu.
Brioche French Toast has also been taken off the menu.

- ADDED: Prodigious Pretzel is now Monumental Pretzel — jumbo shareable pretzel, pimento cheese, honey mustard for $15
- ADDED: Cracklins — chili-lime seasoning, house ranch dressing, bourbon BBQ for $12
- ADDED: Artisan Flatbread — roasted chicken, ranch, mozzarella, white cheddar, buffalo sauce, red onion, celery for $22
- ADDED: Fried Pickle Spears — with house ranch dressing for $15
Under Salads, this happened:
- REMOVED: House Salad
- ADDED: Caesar — romaine hearts, sourdough croutons, caesar dressing, parmesan for $16 (add chicken for $8, add shrimp for $9, add steak for $14)
- ADDED: Power Plant — spring mix, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, olives, asiago cheese, white balsamic vinaigrette for $16 (add chicken for $8, add shrimp for $9, add steak for $14)
Under Burgers, the Prohibition Chili Burger was replaced with the Imposter Burger — plant-based Impossible burger patty, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, kaiser roll with fries for $22. Here’s how Patented Specialties changed: New York Strip Steak changed from $47 to $51.
The Sweets menu also changed:
- REMOVED: Bright Lemon Deep-dish Meringue Pie and In-the-Dark Ultimate Chocolate Layer Cake
- Lights-on Dulce De Leche Cheesecake changed from $18 to $15
- ADDED: Brookie — dark chocolate brownie-cookie hybrid, vanilla gelato, chocolate sauce for $15
