We love celebrating alongside Disney when one of our favorite characters has a birthday.

Who else loves a birthday celebration?

Donald Duck first appeared on-screen nearly 90 (!!!) years ago, on June 9th, 1934. Disney is partnering with a local cafe in Japan and is celebrating in a BIG way this year. OH MY CAFE — a popup cafe in Shinjuku that licenses to use Disney characters — is hosting a limited-time experience in celebration of Donald’s 90th birthday. Here’s what you need to know!

Disney shared on Instagram that for a limited time, you can visit a specially-themed cafe event in Tokyo celebrating the 90th anniversary of Donald Duck’s screen debut.

“Donald Duck – The Three Caballeros – OH MY CAFE” is being held at Shinjuku Mill Road in Tokyo on the 7th Floor. You can attend the experience from May 11th to June 30th.

AJ went to an OH MY CAFE experience in Harajuku, Tokyo in 2023 — but themed to Winnie the Pooh! As you can see, the theming for the Funny & Hunny Cafe goes all out! There was even a connected store where you could buy merchandise. The Three Caballeros experience will probably be very similar in the sense that there will be an attached store so that you can grab all the celebratory merch your heart desires after you eat.

Here’s a look at the menu for the Funny & Hunny Cafe. There were several food and beverage items to choose from as well as novelties like stirring spoons and mugs.

And now, for the most important part! Here’s a glimpse at all the themed food! It was definitely an adorable and well put-together event, and we’re sure The Tres Caballeros experience will be similar in that regard.
