Disney World just shared a BUNCH of news about the 2024 Halloween season!
Yep, that’s right, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom this year with all the old favorites, from entertainment to trick-or-treating to character meets. Part of that list includes Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks, and if you want a great view for the show, we’ve got an important update!
For 2024, Disney will be bringing back the Halloween dessert parties! You’ll be able to book the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with either the Tomorrowland Terrace Viewing or the Plaza Garden Viewing options.
These dessert parties are an extra cost on top of your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket. Your dessert party ticket will include a dessert buffet, a variety of cheeses, beverages (including some select alcoholic options for those over 21), and designated viewing for the fireworks show.
It’s a good option if you don’t want to stake out a fireworks spot in advance, but the downside is that the event will take up a significant portion of the already limited party time.
In 2023, these parties cost $99 per person for the Plaza Garden option and $114 for the Tomorrrowland Terrace option. This year, the price has increased for the Tomorrowland Terrace option to $119 per adult and $75 per child. The Plaza Garden option has stayed the same, at $99 per adult and $59 per child.
The difference between the two parties is the fireworks viewing location. With the Tomorrowland Terrace option, you’ll watch the fireworks from your seat at the restaurant’s dining area. With the Plaza Garden option, you’ll be escorted to a reserved standing area in the Magic Kingdom hub to see the fireworks.
For the Tomorrowland Terrace option, you’ll check in at Tomorrowland Terrace one hour prior to the fireworks starting time. Check-in begins at Tomorrowland Terrace 1.5 hours prior to the fireworks starting time for the Plaza Garden Viewing option.
Starting June 7th, 2024, you can make Advance Dining Reservations for these fireworks dessert parties 60 days prior to your booked evening at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party via the Walt Disney World website. As a reminder: the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is available for booking exclusively for guests who have purchased tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets for the Halloween Party are required for anyone who wants to attend the dessert party, and budgeting for both can be expensive, especially if you have a large group.
